1) i step into throttle bcoz it sluggish if jz lift foot off brakes.but no jerking at all (CFE)
2) put in N and pull handbrake.if u read the manual proton didn't recommend stay in gear while static coz it would overheat ur CVT.release brake after put un D n just step tye throttle

actually the free labour is valid for the first three services with SC, either 1k, 5k, 10k or 1k, 10k 20k. And in one year time after buying the car.

Milage for service interval depends on SC. Some recommends every 5k and other recommends every 10k. Some said that if you're using fully-syn for EO, the intervals is 10k, while 5k if you're using semi-syn EO.

Few SC do follow the service booklet reccomendations, every 10k even if using semi-syn EO, as per my experience with SC Pantai Bharu.

I'm using Preve LE. Tell you what, it hits slope very easily. Not being sarcastic, to avoid hitting some parking slopes, I have to make sure speed is 0, and still I hit the front bumper once at my work place.

Bodykitted car needs delicate care. No jumping over speed bumps, be very careful at slopes, be sure not to hit kerbs when parking.

Also same for large rims. The 17" can hit its edges by driving over pot holes. Knowingly that MRT/LRT construction is on going now, I have to avoid some paths with pot holes. I fixed a scratch, and then in just few days, it got another small scratch because of a pothole.

Indeed. Again, with MRT/LRT construction, there's so much tar that sticks to the white paint. I was lazy to wax it upon getting the car and I then spent hours to remove those existing tar.

Fortunately, after waxing, the tar is easily removable. Should have waxed the car from day 1.

I use PG sealant to clean and to coat it.

if you refer to the service booklet, the recommendations for EO is semi-syn, and the interval schedule in the booklet is every 10000km. But as mengsuan indicated, there's no harm if you want to service your car every 5000km, but its not compulsory, from the warranty pov.

Not headache, because I love my cars. For the looks and satisfaction of looking at it, it's ok to drive slower

Hi. Wanna ask about sound system in Preve? It comes with 6 speakers right? How's the sound quality? Is it good or biasa2 saja?

Preve comes in 4 speakers. Suprima S comes in 4+2 speakers though, with 2 tweeters on A-pillar or dashboard I believe.
Sound quality wise is dependable, they're rubbish if you're an audiophile but I find them to be acceptable although my previous ride Hyundai Matrix original 6 (4+2) speakers sounds better.

By the way, I've reached 1000km today and going to service my car this coming Saturday, my average FC is 9.3l/100km with average speed at 33km/h (mostly city drive and heavy-traffic highway). Hope the FC will improve after service.

Is it really only 4 speakers? The other day I went to visit Proton showroom, the dealer said the 2014 Preve comes with 6 speakers.

Anyway I'm a fresh grad and just started working. So plan to buy this car as my first car. But still considering whether this car worth to buy or not.

Compare Preve with Suprima, which car do u recommend me to buy if I'm more towards city driving, and maybe once a month or 2 will do the long distance driving back to my hometown.

currently any discounts for proton preve LE ah? is it worth getting the LE than CFE with extra 7k? but the exterior of the LE looks very nice n sporty

For me, if the problem that can be fix is okay..
But for now, no any orchestra sound come out yet

later people accuse proton pay under the table to the mag.

eventhough many times being explained the reason why it doesnt feel that fast due to cvt. but still people disbelieve n mentioned that even myvi is faster. n many accused cfe doesnt have 2L performance as advertise,n many times they said lancer outperformed preve. so,atleast,non bias testing has proved it. with cvt3+,its even better.

but,cfe just cap ayam enjin,there must be something wrong with the timing. broken stop watch perhaps?
