It is a hardware bugs, you factory reset still same. No point doing so.

finally can get antutu score @ 35000
previously only getting 20000 - 28000 for many times

I think it is due to phone heating very fast, then the processor starts throttling. (any1 can confirm this?)
for the 35000, I let the phone cool down first, and the don't put it horizontally with table surface, so that heat can disperse faster.

My note 3 antutu benchmark only 21000 only

Hi there, I realised the home button is kinda loose and the clicking sound is quite noisy when press. Anyone had this problem and issit a defect that I need to give it back to Samsung?

I can confirm that if u get low score like <25k  then ur unit is hot this is especially true if u use a casing like me futhur blocking the heat, let it cool and u should be at least getting 31k++ u want high take off the back cover shoot car air con air and it should fly, i got around 36k when i did that...

I think it cause by the same indexing service issue.  If the phone still haven't finish indexing. .antutu score will be lower as the phone is using the CPU for indexing.
Worst case if got corrupt files and the indexing goes looping forever. ..lolz

My handwriting to text is having problem, i think since yesterday. I google it up, there are few people having the same issue since 1st of october. There is some discussion about it at xda forum. Temporary solution that works is to change date to 26/9/2013 and restart the phone.

I do suspect its a bug with Samsung Software.

no la, since day 1 i never see this indexing service anywhere, whether it's the android battery usage or in BBS, if there is such a big wakelock bug i would have mentioned already, had this *backup* wakelock which i solved by disabling google backup of apps data and restarting.

yeah it's throttling    2.3ghz too hot i think, samsung can't find a good way to disperse the heat fast enough. Anyways it's still pretty smooth even when hot

This phone is headed to Japan, but its innovative design could cause ODMs to rethink their smartphone layouts.

The Inquisitor reports that NEC's Medias X N-06E is the first smartphone to feature liquid cooling.


Before now, phones didn't have a cooling system at all. But the new Medias X sports a liquid-filled heatpipe that pulls heat away from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core SoC and disperses it all via a graphite "radiator" through the phone's polycarbonate exterior to slow overheating. The system board is also designed to disperse the heat.

Waiting Microsoft/Nokia collaboration in the future to challenge them.
