Oh gawd, it was a bad idea to go jalan2 in Melaka yesterday. Came back tired like a herd of elephants jaywalking on my back. Tried to watch the game but auto-doze setting turned on before the first goal. I'm glad I woke up to a beautiful scoreline.
Definitely going to watch the replay today! But from the figments of my memory, I remember seeing how good Gnarby is at defending as oppose to Walcott. I still prefers Walcott for his amazing runs and sublime goals though, but this positive introduction of Gnarby will provide competition for RW position. As for Ozil, he is somewhat slow to defend, but hos offball position has always been great, providing spaces and gaps that allows the team to move the ball up front easily, especially nearing the goal line. This is the best season we're going into! Brimming with confidence and playing for fun while proving our critics wrong despite the injuries problem. Crisis? What crisis? They should look at the other teams for crisis news. Man Utd had it coming for their string of bad results. Did they honestly expect the team going to win it again just because they changed their old amazing manager? The way I see it, they might be desperate enough to recall SAF out of retirement for one last season and have Moyes becoming an understudy to him. But f**k do I care? Arsenal time is here and now. |

QUOTE(genexern @ Sep 29 2013, 08:21 PM) Barca is at the end of their shelf life.Their golden generation will soon retire in 5 years time, financially they aren't looking too good either. New manager, but sticking to old system. Messi is out injured. |

Just saw video of Özil juggling his gum again during Swansea warm up.
So cheeky. In related news, I'm a bit surprised that Özil can speak English fairly well. Most of his previous pc were done using a translator. This post has been edited by funnyTONE: Sep 30 2013, 12:19 AM |

QUOTE(rickysay @ Sep 30 2013, 09:54 AM) It's been a great month so far as Arsenal fan. I don't mind lose or draw Napoli match, that way can get complacency off of them since we are on winning streak, but i don't think that will be the case as 8 years without trophy has already taught us something about that. consistency of winning is key to winning trophies. Winning Napoli means we can win any teams in the UCL.They're like the biggest favourites right now, and Rafa Benitez got his magic right this time around. My biggest concern right now is that we don't have any more injuries to jinx our team stability. |

QUOTE(Mikken @ Sep 30 2013, 11:26 AM) How come their dressing room looks like a makeshift room from the duct? I remember Emirates tour, the dressing room is a little smaller than this.Anyway, rarely seeing Giroud with his shirts on in that room. Most times he's either half naked or having his rear crack showing back when he was at Montpellier. |

QUOTE(Thumpy Ick @ Sep 30 2013, 12:37 PM) does anyone still think we need to add another striker, or would it suffice to play theo or poldi in ST when giroud is out? i think with the brand of football we play, it's hard for a new ST to come in and work the moves we do the way giroud has learned after a year. plus i dont see any top top qualitee striker available in the market Yea, we do need a solid striker on top of our growing youth striker.Top of my head, Di Maria. |

QUOTE(zimhibikie @ Sep 30 2013, 12:19 PM) But isnt Fergie still have post at the club? And kenot totally blamed Moyes on their lack of transfer, this is due to owners' reluctance to spend big due to their huge debt.. I agree with Liverpool and Spurs.By current form, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea are the ones are realistic title contenders. Not just based on their current league positions, but also on the depth of squad, quality players in the squad, style of attacking plays.. Look very strong and convincing. Chelsea however is struggling with new manager and players. I think they need some time to get into their winning ways. From what I've seen, they're slow and rather disorganized. Manchester City is the other side of the coin. Despite losing sone games, their goalscoring ability is very strong. |

QUOTE(raizo7 @ Oct 1 2013, 01:48 PM) Apparently Wilshere is fine, but Flamini is doubtful because of shoulder injury. omai...I'm divided between the two. I think I prefer Flamini right now for its defensive attributes that Arsenal needs against a strong Napoli side. On the other hand, Wilshere can contribute both in defending and going up front during counter attacking. Hmm.... spoilt for choice!1 gain, 1 loss again! |
