Sadly, there will be 2 weeks of no Arsenal games after that.

QUOTE(Thumpy Ick @ Oct 2 2013, 12:41 PM) just watched the replay of the game, DAMN that first half was magnificent. at first glance i thought flamini scored the first goal, but it didnt make sense because it was a left foot finish and it was too good, flamini's not known for his finishing. then the camera showed ozil and i was ecstatic. first goal for mesut! Funniest damn post I've ever read. some of the things i took from the game: giroud's hold up play is fkin amazing. he wins almost all aerial battles, puts the ball down and plays the right ball. he gets it right with his flicks, and his upper body strength allows him to keep the ball under pressure, even while running ex: his run at right wing to - almost - assist tomas in early 2nd half. this guy is gold. mesut ozil is not the best signing in the summer, he's actually tied with mathieu flamini. actually flamini might be the best signing since he's free. i think he is now in the first team ahead of arteta when everyone's fit. i like how he allows other players to take the limelight while he silently does his job bossing the midfield. i was afraid he wont be physically fit enough to be featuring consistently, but he's proved me wrong. flamini is the player we've been missing since we sold... flamini. and finally a clean sheet! napoli didnt turn up, i was expecting lorenzo insigne to at least work szc, but we didnt look like conceding all night. not to mention koscielny back to being bosscielny, this guy loves the Champions League games, always seems to give his best in it! |

QUOTE(sickx @ Oct 2 2013, 02:01 PM) Typical plastic fan memang macam tu.Rather than contributing to his own dead thread, he decides to create threads as trollbait in a guise to hit out at Arsenal. Saddest thing, no clubs accepts him as a fan. Deswai he go around every football thread and post insults. I guess he's still mad at buying Arsenal original jersey last time. |

Wenger said something along the line,
"Everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife at home" But I can't remember when and to whom he said that to. I thought it was a clever quote though. |

thx for the quote source, guys. You guys were right, it was some where in 2002-2004 against SAF statement that Arsenal doesn't deserve to win. Didn't realize it was already a long time ago. Those days Arsene had a lot of funny and controversial quotes. These days, he is more tame with the press and focuses more about our team than others.
Anyway, what's up with Manchester City? This morning they got schooled by Bayern Munich 3-1 in front of their home crowd. Omai... this is the same team that previously home-schooled Man Utd. I'm keen to watch the highlights later, but blames goes to joe Hart and Gael Clichy for the goals. I'm guessing another round of inflated panic buys going to happen in the Arab sponsored club and certain players might get sold away. Too cruel? We'll see. |

QUOTE(toshio14 @ Oct 3 2013, 08:11 AM) semua pemain ada role dia dalam team Words of wisdom, bro.bukan semudah meletakkan 11 pemain terbaek yang kita ada so dalam team yang penuh dengan technician and pass master macam kita ada sekarang ni, kita perlukan runner situ la Theo comes into picture, walaupon technical ability dia tak la secantik di mata berbanding kawan2 team dia yang lain seperti Mesut, Santi, Mikel, Jack etc dengan kata lain, dengan ada pass master macam Mesut sekarang ni adalah sangat rugi Theo tak main Is it better to have 11 Ozils in all positions or to have variety of players with different skill sets that makes a better team? |

Interesting read of SAF interview with the US media. I don't know why I enjoy following him. Probably because there's so much you can learn from a successful manager.
He talked about how he refuses to return back to the premiership looking at the crisis at Man Utd, that he rather enjoy his retirement travelling around the world and watch games and matches at the stadium like a normal person would. Doesn't hide the fact that he's actually a closet fan of the Gunners. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
