oh okay.

unstable.

that standard shit float like a sampan at 140kmh.

therefore, i feel unsafe.
*
In standard form, the jazz is meant for city roundaround and not for high speed driving....so the sampan feeling is expected.....the target market for jazz is housewives and college student or spare car.... hmm.gif

Differences,of opinion is expected and not to be too emotional on this....we are sharing our experience on this car 1st hand and not from hearsay....whatever my opinion or ur opinion on the car not necessarily applicable to you or myself....feel free to have diffferences of thought....for me this jazz is a simple car which fulfill the simple needs...city driving or short distance travelling.... i once trying the car with a max speed of 190 km/h but i feel the car stable at 150 to 160km/h not because i got balls of steel but its just my feeling....but please be reminded that the speed i achieve is on long straight highway road with minimum traffic ..... I dont propogate speeds but just tried it once....dont drive this car very often since i bought it for my son in college....even if i drive this car during weekend it always at 70 to 80 km/h which is my trip to the mall or market....

QUOTE(nm7 @ Mar 24 2016, 07:57 AM)
DAMN... If i am a father like you and i know the car my kid is driving can do 190 and still feel stable at 160. I'd be seriously worried wei.

I'll jus get my kid next time a car with a 125cc kapchai engine. WOT full revs also 88kph only.

I dun wan to hear my kid say "pa say can do 160 one". I'd be seriously screwed by my wife.
*
i know my son better than you... biggrin.gif
he will not drive it at 160kmh...the most he will drive is it at 80-90 km/h....
Even if u drive bicycles, accident can happen la....
So please stay safe...

Eh,  you see the car went in and spend so long or it was jus queueing?

Usually i take 830am slot also they tell me 1pm collection. But,  normally by 1030 or 11 the car is already done and can collect if you are around.

Jus dun try to go late or without appointment la.
*
If you go to Wanija Seremban for service, they will have slots for 'by appointment' and 'walk in' ....the service adviser will take at random ur sevice booklet and no proper numbering system at all....my brother who service his CRV also the same thing happen in Ban Hin Lee Service in Seremban.... Its resulting that u send your car at 8:30 a.m. And finish the whole process of queing and servicing ur car 4 to 5 hours later....

Seremban Tan Chong service much better.... Booking service through internet and they will call u the day before service to remind u....the whole process of waiting servicing will be less than 2 hour for minor service and not more than 3 hours for major service..... After service ur car they sms u and ask us to rate their service and asking if there any problem encountered during servicing or suggestion for improvement....

You must go for which ever come first. if your mileage is still 8k but your car is already 6month old, by right you should service your car. Car component lifetime is measured by time & usage. different part may have different usage & lifetime. this is also to ensure that you may qualify for free service package (labour charge) offered by honda.

ok noted, tq,,,,the response seem like from the SC....hahahha.... whistling.gif whistling.gif

If u worry about warranty. Whichever comes first.

If not,  do so when you like. 1 or 2 months is not a big deal although might not be the best.

my GK5 is already six months and it does not even reach 3K on the odometer...anyway I already sent if for service.

the 0W-20 engine oil is not bad.RM 120 for fully is quite cheap.
*
Is the 0W-20 too thin of engine oil? If RM120 for fully synthetic genuine engine oil of 4 liter , its really dirt cheap...whats the brand of the EO? Its selling at SC?

Eh,  i got it for RM95 only. Not from Honda authorized spare parts shop la.  The gold bottle one made by idemitsu

Dun look fake to me. 5th oil change snd still running
*
Quite phobia buying EO from spare part shops unless you really confident and its trusted seller....

Actually,  it is around that price after the 15% discount in SC during service.

As to whether it is too thin. I think it is ok for normal drives but dun really feel it is very durable in case you really want to stretch it to a 10k service interval.

If you punch it hard for long durations. I do realize that the oil level will drop a bit after 3 to 4k KMs. So,  in some ways it is a bit thin if you push the motor very hard.
*
Most of fully synthetic oil that i bought for my other car/mpv, like Mobil 1 or Liqui Molly , the price will be more than RM200 for a 4 liter bottle....to get it for RM120 will be a peanut....for me all my new car till 3rd year, i will using xW30, 4 to 5 years it will be xW40 and 5 years and above it will be xW50...

You are not one of those who think old cars piston skirting getting thin and think of using more viscous oil to solve problem,  right?

Actually,  others nowhere near near rm200 la. But still more expensive la. My redline also costs around rm58 per lit only (include gst la)
*
Its not my thinking.... Its my 30 years experience of driving and ownership of a variety of vehicles....i am more comfortable on that..... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

For this jazz which have a little engine, i do believe semi synthetic 10W30 is good enough for the intended purpose that i bought this little jazzy at the 1st place...

Hi all Jazz owners, may I know what are the reasons you choose honda jazz instead of city? I am planning to get a new jazz/city, but still cant decide between these 2 cars.. Jazz seems to be a bit budget friendly.. Can the owners kindly share your review/opinion about Honda Jazz?? Thanks in advance..
*
For me the choice is very obvious....if you are married and its ur 1st car it should be City....if u are single , jazz is the choice .... if you are family man & the car is your 2nd, 3rd or spare car using it mostly in town , again Jazz is the choice....

refer the bottom of the bottle.

if semi should be 5W-30, 10W30 is mineral.
*
Opsss .....the tax invoice show the price as follow:
Labor for 10k service FOc
Washer Drain 14mm RM1.89
OIL Filter Catridge RM27.84
5W30 Semi Synthetic RM113.54
Total (With GST) Rm143.31

So its actuallly 5W30 and not 10W30........but there are no bottle given to me for any leftover since this Wanija SC is using Bulk Container not a 4 L or 5 L Bottles as usuall....thats why i dont know the Brand of the EO......i also dont have time to ask as I drop the car and asking for semi synthetic and left the car and collected later...

This happen coz everytime there left over oil, mechanic keeps them.
If one car leftover 300ml, they will only need another 12 cars to to get a total of 4litre.

The 14th car will just use all the accumulated leftover oils, that particular bottle? Just connect back to your story above.
*
leftover EO....no, thank you.. shakehead.gif
