The panel gap of the Jazz is very huge even by the standard of Perodua n Proton......let alone the Japanese n Continental car in Msia....is it the same with CBU GK5? Is our locally assembled Jazz getting worse? How about the previous gen. Jazz? Any comparison being done?

QUOTE(nm7 @ Dec 27 2015, 10:10 PM) Well you bought a Honda. Not a lexus. If you read properly, i am comparing it with perodua and proton and no Lexus was mentioned at all.....its a budget vehicles and not in a luxurious category at all.... You can try to complain to Honda but i think they will most probably turn a blind eye on it. No CBU GK5 in Malaysia. You might need to go Japan and look at their ones. not worth it to pursue to Honda...its time consuming.....if the quality of the CKD and CBU is different, then the integrity of Honda Malaysia really questionable..... |

QUOTE(nm7 @ Dec 27 2015, 10:12 PM) Eh, i think your tire wrong size le. Nanti your speedo lari kaw kaw. 175/65/15 tyre diameter is 24 inches whereby 205/45/17 will be 24.3 inches.... Its 0.3 inches differences or 1.2% differences only.....Jazz stock tire size is 175/65/r15 i think. The circumference could be off quite bad. |

QUOTE(nm7 @ Dec 28 2015, 02:27 AM) Well, you saw the showroom units and you bought it. Not like the showroom units are any special isn't it. I bought the car is solely for the reason of the car was chosen by my son as it is his ride for travelling from college to our house....nobody pointed it out eccept that i compared it to my other cars in the house....however, once a while i will drive the car around town and i love it for its nippiness around town....So, the question is why did you buy it even though it was known to be bad or did someone pointed it out to you after you got yours? As i say, i am not that bothered unless you can see gaps that are not symmetric on both left and right sides which i believe does happen if you got at it with a digital vernier caliper. It am.not bothered as well as it is only tools for transportation and no car is perfect but i believe there are room for improvement for that matters.. Thought of upgrading the bulb to Osram NBU or Philips White Vision.....my issue on Philips White Vision is whether its good enough for raining at nighf....Osram NBU is still yellowish to my liking but better during raining....

QUOTE(nm7 @ Jan 9 2016, 05:35 PM) To be frank la. You want it for aesthetics? As in white light or performance? brighter and further. You can't have both. My priority of course for brighter/ further lightning....on the LED path, i already asking Eagle Eye Asia for retrofitting led projector of our existing GK5 since they not coming out with mass production LED projector yet...on sourcing directly from Japan through local dealer, the price is too much too stomach....for the time being, i have the liberty to avoid driving this car at night...hahaha...I went with extreme vision. Although not as white as many people will like, 3700k i think. It does performs better than stock lo. Else, there is an even more extreme way which is to see if you can source and convert to the jdm base gk5 headlights which use LEDs. Then you have all the phillips ultinon range at your disposal and those i might say is sweeeeeeeeeeet for aesthetics. |

Never venture into this section, can explain more? Is it the same as waxing? I heard some projector use h11 ? Or izit h1 ? Yeah, those philips led h4 japan has some nice youtube video . Just concern about the cooling, since jazz engine compartment is so small and led need good cooling to last long. this is my 1st venture on this too.... This Jazz became a guinea pig before i venture into my other cars....surface preparation is as normal polishiing steps and i outsourcing it to the profesional to do the dirty jobs.... Then i apply this coating which replacing the waxing steps.....as this is 1st application, i done 3 layer of protection...after that i need to do 3 month maintenance period which the item that i bought can last about 4 times application or at leat 1.5 years.... QUOTE(Joe Kreutz @ Jan 18 2016, 09:51 AM) hi guys, U are getting quite good fuel.consumption...our jazz which is only 3 month old currently is getting only btw 12.4km/l to 12.8km/l .....not much diff. eventhough we change the rim n tyres from standaard 175 65 R 15 to 195 50R 16....its mix town 80% and occasional 20% highway...i got my Honda Jazz in the middle of last year.. the fuel consumption is pretty consistent around 15.7 km/l but starting early this month, the fuel consumption has steadily decreasing from 15.7 km/l to 14.9 km/l now... anybody knows what is happening? is this normal? my driving style and routes is pretty much the same. anybody can explain what is happening? |
