If you want good torp... aim for Triple Oxy or Quint Oxy...  Quad Oxy => 35.6 red gun => good to have but as backup boost up.

the preferred way: 5-1 + 3-2-A

my practice on 5-1:(setup and equips I mentioned before)

1st time if wrong course => reset
2nd time wrong course => then stop farming 5-1

Otherwise, keep farming non-stop for MVP + Flagship exp 1.2k ++ (with right equips, 100% confirm MVP + Flag, if your flag is not too low lvl on ASW stats)

backup plan: 3-2-A non stop even all ships are RED morale.

Setup:

First slot: Flagship DD of your choice(DA yasen equips)
rest: 4 CVL/CV and 1 BBV (yes houshou also eligible)

Equips for CVLs: all blue bombers with smallest slot size 1 Saiun only
Equips for BBV: 4 Zuiuns

Spam spam spam... if any ships chuuha, repair.

Flagship can get 576 exp, most likely DD will not get MVP.

Quint can be farmed if you get alot Ooi and KTKM

I dont think you need that quint torp, as the +7 or +10 stats torp will do just fine, but need three slots for maximum damage from cuts-in

Unlike red/yellow gun, torp rely on yasen cuts-in to get effective, so thats why people use double setup red/yellow gun + seaplane on Kitakami because its give nice damages on day and night battle.  Balanced damages I think.

Its not really that hard, calculate the total exp needed => Divide by 576 exp per run, then you can further plan your grinding schedule...

Now back to 5-1 slower grind for Michishio and Yahagi/2nd Ooyodo...

branching specific ship does not make you automatically finish the event
Why blueprint is a problem? Monthly map give you medals, 1-5, 2-5, 3-5 is easy, thats 3 medals per month, how often ship need blueprint? They are rare..

Mine already got 40 medals collected, I dont understand the complaint

Searchlight from +1 to +10, only need 2 screws each upgrade(with daily screw quest, the cost is like 10 screws only.)...

Don't go for the 100% success chance except from MAX to 150cm(further 7 screws needed)

BBs role in Yasen no longer effective as damage dealer in Yasen (AP shell not working in Yasen), High luck DD&CLTs for critical strike to punch through the armor(only lighter ships can equip Daihatsu tanks for more damage)

Thus BBs can take over the role of equipping all the Yasen equipments(Starshell, night recon plane) and especially Big searchlight and attract the fire(DOnt set searchlight ship as Flagship, Flagship protection will offset the effect of Searchlight).

The three parts are: Initial Operation, Extra Operation, and Latter Operation.

In the Initial Operation, players will capture an island and then they will setup their air base there.

Admirals are free to choose if they want to join the Extra Operation or not.

It is possible to participate in and clear the Latter Operation without joining the Extra Operation.

Iowa and a flying boat will be rewarded to players who cleared Latter Operation.
In another word you need Type 2 Amphibious Landing Craft for Initial Operation(lucky can get from quest reward) If the Extra Operation give silly reward like medal or ration I will skip that and go all the way to Latter Operation
