at least i can reach boss mostly (there's still a few run of RNG but it's nothing compare to E5 )

that's how u make a cv/cvl retreat

maybe this is a good alternative for me as i don't have CAV left, and not much CA available
and my yamato and musashi not sortie outside of PVP quite long time already
(only once bring them to map to make them damage...)

i also use akitsumaru because still one more slot if i choose 2 cv route...
i do have a few CV /CVL ready, but no more CAV and not much CA left

just finish E5 Hard

i'm using nuke method, it is very RNG based...
*need a lot of resources and time for this method...

maybe RNG not kind to me, only 2 nuke when i try to clear E5...
one at first few run, by support expedition
second at last kill, by my first fleet (surprisingly, not from support expedition, which make me miss the perfect moment of 'print screen')



if anyone interest with this method

i'm not sure is the two yellow plane on support affect the 'nuke' or not...
and this was my second or third round to try red plane on my fleet...

before this i use blue plane on my fleet 1, maybe that's why i only have 1 'nuke' until i change to red plane
i guess my first 'nuke' is a lucky one


now gonna level my new land based aircraft first before go to E7...
maybe just normal for the medals or just easy... not quite interest with the hard medal

it's all about RNG but i never until 1 hp

for me, it's either the 'nuke' one hit kill the boss, or damage the boss until orange/yellow health at night battle
there was once that night battle until boss red health

as u can see from my fleet, i only have 1 type 3 shell and it is not enough to finish the boss
i used to have 1 FBB, 1 CLT at my escort
after a few run that make a big circle and the damn sub one hit my ship to red
then i swap my FBB for another CLT...

just simply drag it outside of the plane slot like how u remove your ship in your fleet by drag it out

i also want extra yuu
gonna go back E3 after i found the iowa

i was trying for normal in E7, after 2-3 failed (red health before boss node )
i change to easy, and finish it yesterday night

unlike normal, easy no need too much of green plane, can put more blue plane for more powerful airstrike
but blue plane still have RNG, either finish 3-4 ships or just finish 1 ship...

and i was lucky for my final kill
enemy air raid twice, just scratch damage to base, boss node green T, and this shipgirl drop after i finish the boss



it seems quite a lot of resources remain for me, maybe can do some LSC after farming at E3

i only have 2 CA remain for E6... use CLT to maximum my opening strike damage
and pray hard to my planes

i think the iowa green gun or italian bb kai green gun can replace the 12.7 that i equip with maya, and still can do double attack?

sometimes i wondering can the radar from prinz can do AACI if equip on maya

for my airfield, i put 4 green plane at first one, blue plane + land based bomber at second and third one
(i think is 3 blue+1 land based because if all blue, may cannot reach boss node)
i cannot put all blue plane to my airfield because i have limited quantity and put all my best to my carrier...

pre boss kill, i use 1st airfield (green plane) to defend against enemy air raid
2nd + 3rd airfield all to boss node

final kill, all airfield focus on boss node


for boss node support expedition, i use 4 CV + 2 DD
if i'm not mistaken, all radar on DD, CV i put 2 二式艦上偵察機 (yellow plane) and all red plane on remaining slot

for my fleet, i use 2 BBV + 4 CV
BBV 2 red gun + zuiun 12 (the one from fusou class kai ni) + type 3 shell
4 CV i put i saiun to prevent red T, 2 green + 2/1 blue plane, adjust accordingly to reach AS+

will check back my history and post here once i reach home today

i don't think only graf and prinz, probably any foreign ship sound better than iowa
(but i don't have bismarck yet, i think bismarck should be better than iowa since i only saw post about iowa, not about bismarck )

this is my last kill at E7, for pre-boss, the only difference is i use 1 green 3 blue for my white hair CV...

i can't find my land based airfield in my history, so from my memory:
airfield 1: 4 green
airfield 2: 3 blue 1 land based bomber
airfield 3: 3 blue 1 land based bomber / 2 blue 2 land based bomber

i just use my remaining green/blue plane after i equip my 4 CV, more on blue plane and as long as they reach boss node will do

almost forgot, i do easy on E7, for harder difficulty, need more green plane...

i was lucky that opening do a lot of damage for that round
green T, and night battle with 2 red health enemy remain

oh ya,
i do defense at pre boss, 1st airfield defense, 2nd and 3rd airfield focus on boss node
final kill no defense, all focus on boss node

and no, i do not use any support expedition, lazy to do sparkle, just land based airfield is enough for easy
but of course, u can use support expedition, it is up to u

*most of the time i go ACFHLN
rarely go IJ from F... only one or two time...

well, even i set one airfield for defense, sometimes the airfield will orange health as well...
and when i do not set defense for my final kill, enemy raid just do scratch damage

defend or not, it is up to u...
u can aim all to boss for more damage if u not defend


BTW, i still dunno what enemy air raid do, other than damage my aircraft...
the airfield auto go back green health if damage by enemy

maybe it will cost some resources if airfield damage
but i do not record down exact number of my resources before sortie, so dunno is this true or not

ya, i can see the resources usage when click on the refuel for planes...
and even need to pay just to put the aircraft into the airfield

it just the hp of the airfield seems nothing about it...
not like a button to repair the airfield

i'm using the land based fighter from previous map and mix with reppu and type 21 to make sure it can reach boss node...
(most of my reppu already at my carrier, so only the land based aircraft and type 21 remain )

maybe the land based fighter is better, at first i was thinking it just easy, so not really care about this

try my luck again at E6 for the 'nuke'
E7 after a few failed at normal, i go to easy and really big difference between normal and easy

and there's quite some nice drop
i only have:
1 x i401
2 x u511
1 x akashi
1 x 'screw destroyer'
2 x maruyu

and still farming at E3 for yuu

i see... the land based fighter design for airfield, should be better at airfield
reppu is design for carrier, and also should be better at carrier as well

i just want to try my luck for more wg42
of course, i already more than enough with 2 U511 in my base, no need to choose between 'chocolate' or 'vanila'

already few day at E3, sometimes i think that maybe i should try my luck at LSC instead
but so far, now E3 is the highest chance (and probably the easiest as well) to get this foreign submarine...
