i see... i saw a lot of nagamusu at E5 and Nelson at E3...
maybe i try to not use nelson in E3 first to see can pass or not

Finish E3 Hard yesterday

First boss and unlock, no big issue, however, difficulties come at second boss


This is the fleet that i used for final kill:

LBAS: 1 green 3 bombers for both LBAS all aim boss

I was trying to not use the nelson when i start the 2nd boss, however never finish the boss even once, just slowly reduce the red bar until final kill...
now a bit regret using nelson however no point of think about it since she already have the tag

before final kill i was trying to switch around the shipgirls and equipments, some of those that i remember:
-2cvl with 8 green plane
-kiso with opening ASW
-gangut at main fleet
-tama / ashigara / commander taste at escort fleet
-hatsuzuki with air radar
-searchlight on hatsuzuki / big searchlight on gotland


Try not to used akizuki class DD and Nelson:
(for 4 akizuki class DD, if used 1 at E2 and 1 at E3, there is only 2 remain and 3 ship lock at E4+E5)
However, i do feel easier pass on node J after i used akizuki class dd...

there is higher chance to finish main fleet of the enemies if nelson touch activate and aim at the correct target but i think support expedition should be helping too for final kill



For node J
-aim for AS and 2bb at main fleet make it easier to pass this node
(i was lucky that my final kill run is AD and pass node J )

For gangut
-it seems easier to finish the boss if gangut at escort fleet and survive until night battle, however, it will be harder to pass node J with either 1BB or 1CVL/CV in main fleet

For CTF
-i do not CTF for second boss, not sure is it easier or not, it may easier however need 1 AO with fast speed...

For support expedition, i was use both support expedition for final kill, however, all have to retreat before reach boss node
and when i decide to not use both support, the run reach boss and finish the boss



I guess maybe i try some run on E4 casual while digest all the E4 information

I was keep on bully the boss at E4 casual... thought like maybe do the E4 if the 50 transport quest complete...

but she appear before the 36 sortie quest complete




now it is time for me to start E4... i guess maybe i do hard as well

unlock part not much issue, just need to separate which shipgirls for STF / CTF
final kill also not much issue, after unlock the 3rd start point, i have 2 fail run, follow by 2 run that reach boss node, both run finish the boss
it was 2 lucky run that all my shipgirls aim boss at night, and with the help of powerful friend fleet as well

Difficult part is during the CTF where slowly reduce the red bar...
i never have once finish the boss in CTF, only do some damage to boss, and mostly from friend fleet...

i choose 1 LBAS for the node before boss to increase chance of reach boss node, can also both aim boss

i also choose to use akizuki class dd here, and STF as well...
so no more akizuki class dd for me in E5
But no worries, i plan to use samuel b roberts and johnston, maybe maya / johnston for AACI

i guess still enough for E5 hard

Just finish first boss of E5 hard yesterday

this is what i use for final kill:

LBAS: 1 ASW node B, 1 green 3 bomber for other 2 base all aim boss

Not much issue for this first boss...
but i was using nagato + mutsu and i put iowa in escort fleet and until final kill, even i use all 3 LBAS at boss and boss support expedition also cannot finish the boss

until i use iowa at main fleet, then finish the boss and not even need any support expedition

and here i already wasted about 30k of fuel and about 20k for other resources
maybe no need waste so much if i use iowa at main fleet...


For unlock, yesterday also go the the node V with transport combine fleet

this is my fleet to node V:

LBAS: 1 ASW node B, 1 green 3 bomber node H, 1 green 3 bomber node L
I use normal support expedition as well

used 3 repair team, 0 repair godness


Can also use engine instead of repair team, and LBAS can also use for node H, L, N instead of sub node...

Hyuuga and Ise may better here but i already used 1 of them at E2...

I also try use zuiun before, can also L -> N, but i do not see zuiun do anything good and switch to seaplane fighter for better air power...


still not done G, F and X... but i think X should be easier than the node V...

Just finish E5 hard
No nagato touch, night battle do not have powerful friend fleet
but thanks to kasumi and samuel b roberts cut in aim the boss

Choose to not use akagi for the friend fleet...
Nagato for flagship instead of mutsu because most of the time when mutsu as flagship, no touch activate


Resources check:
start final kill about 150k of fuel, now only about 100k remain


Found all new shipgirls from this event
other than that, some other nice shipgirls i found from this event:
yamato, akitsushima, gambier bay, mizuho, souryu, hiryuu

Last month i finish the monthly expedition but this month it lock again...

Last month i quickly do it because it is almost end of the month and one of the monthly expedition got big amount of fuel (i think steel also have)

Just done E1 hard

This is my fleet that finish the boss:


LBAS 1 green 3 bomber all aim boss


For unlock, i use 1CL 4DD 1CVL for all 3 nodes other than node D
For node D, i use 1CL 4DD

all 4 unlock i use 4 bomber for LBAS and all aim at the node that before the A,D,K,L


No major issue here, 4 run finish the 4 node to unlock, then only 1 run fail to finish the boss
final kill 1 run to finish the boss
i was thinking to try 2CVL or 1SSV but luckily my LBAS do their job, finish most of the enemies at opening, and richelieu finish the boss at night

for anyone who not use richelieu, 2CVL and / or 1SSV may make it easier to finish the boss


For route, i choose top route, go thru a SS node before reach boss... luckily never need to retreat from the SS node


Start this event at cap resources, this is what remain after finish E1:

I probably have 5 rounds of the boss remain 2 digit hp like this in E2 last kill
torpedo cut in just 2 digit damage




but anyway, just finish the E2 Hard

for P1, not much issue, just a few retreat run at final kill

for P2, i was using nagato mutsu ark royal mogami mikuma kamoi (escort is same as my last kill)
no issue before final kill, only 2 run fail to kill boss
start to fail kill the boss at final kill, try different equipment / shipgirl, but fast fleet and go thru sub node is much better than nagato mutsu slow fleet
maybe need hayasui for refill but i do not use my hayasui yet


-maybe tama is better in E2, i plan to keep tama at E3, i choose tatsuta, which make me have some hard time at P2 last kill

-don't use kamoi like me in E2 last kill, i only because do not want to lock any other shipgirls in E2

-it seems aquila have higher bonus in E2, but i already start E2 with ark royal

-support expedition for E2 P2 last kill: i found not much difference for normal support, maybe good if choose to go pt imp node instead of sub node
after i have some retreat even with normal support, decide to only use boss support


New shipgirl: only found the new italian dd and one ark royal


For now, need to raise some >> and digest the information of E3, seems like a lot of unlock / debuff to do in E3

For those unlock in between part 1 and part 2, and also debuff for last boss last kill, can refer to wiki as it need to go quite a lot of nodes / air defense

Some nice drop from E3: etorofu, aquila, jervis, amatsukaze

Since not much chance for saratoga to do night battle, maybe black version of saratoga is better than the white

For me, i would say E2 last kill is much more harder than E3 last kill, E2 last kill probably the hardest for this event
friendly fleet in E3 are much more powerful than E2, the nissin from friendly fleet can double attack, and one hit 1500+ damage to the correct boss
and also E2 i need to use support expedition, but E3 i no need support expedition
just a bit troublesome to do the unlock / debuff, but not much retreat / fail when i do all the unlock / debuff

For new shipgirl, only missing mikura
maybe i go back E1 / E2 and look for her

Never expect to finish the boss since nelson and hiel already orange hp when at boss node, no nelson touch
Thanks to ooi and poi aim boss, just double attack and poi finish the boss
