Ok currently I use VIP5 , I want to upgrade to VIP10 which is the promo is RM199 + Mega Pack. How about the contract? Is it start a new one or just continue the old one?
enuff with polishit la wei.. anyway, i got a call from unifi telling me got free upgrade from vip5 to vip10.. is it true..? i ask them to call me after work cuz want to check with forum..hehehe..
unifi jus call me tht i one of selected customer upgrade to vip 10 oni RM179 when i was driving back to house..thy ask me if u wan hyyp tv package for free thn is RM199.. i tell them all i wan vip 10 RM179 thn tell them my name and ic while i driving one more thing..RM500 discount for samsung smart tv?
more like 100 discount for samsung smart tv.. or none if you nego with the seller. Their 500 discount is from RRP, which normal store already drop 400 from RRP coz of old model.
I was told before by UNIFI agent that easiest way/trick is
1.asking to transfer yr account to new address 2. then new address go no UNIFI , right?it is legit since sandakan no unifi yet 3. UNIFI/TM will not charge penalty if new address got no service. can or not?
They might ask you for a proof for your new place such as water or electric bill. So better got that ready also.
hi uguys.. erm.. im a noob..... im just wondering... white cable/wire that are connected to the broadband termination unit, can it be extended? if can, where could i buy the extender ya? need a longer wire..... thanks..
let say, modem (btu) - router - home plug - home plug - PC
can i configure the router setting thru home plug? i mean 192.168.1.1 page. my main target is to achieve main router user and hypptv on 2nd floor room
while another hypptv on 1st floor living room.
any technician here able to help?
just think the homeplug is just a replacement of long ethernet cable. whatever the cable can do, it's the same as homeplug.
It's possible to have 2 hypp tv decoder but it not easy to configure. I dunno whether you can use same login as the main 1.. But the problem is the hypptv vlan connection. It's capped at 10mbps, and you don't have enough bandwith for 2 different channel except if both on SD.
If you talking about HDMI/RCA cable then it's different story. Put the RCA/HDMI multiplier and yes even 100 TV also can. But it's same channel and different cable.
Hello fellow forumers, I got a noob question to ask. Will I be charged of anything as I turned down the installation of unifi as I don't feel comfy with the contractors (crook face)? They told me they need to drill here and there and shown me a brown cable as thick as a drainage pipe!
1st of all, I not sure about the charges. But if you work out the reason and ask for another contractor I believe there will be no charge. Also, maybe this time you ask your friend to be with you. There will be multiple person at your home, this will make you felt unsafe.
As for the drill, only small hole. The cable cover is about 1-2cm only in diameter.
I bought a TP-link 500mbps homeplug, unfortunately i tested at my hometown the speed can reach only 7-8 megabytes per second (64 mbps+-) between 2 directly 13A plug, and it is single phase meter. Which I think not within hypptv HD requirement.
Instead of install the unifi at first floor backroom, so no choice decide to install the unifi directly at living room.
Probably the wiring cables all are too old already.
Hypptv configured only 10Mbps, it's more than enough. Actually I tested aztech homeplug 500mbps.. Even side by side I only able to achieve 100Mbps.. Far from advertised.
BTW bluray only use around 40Mbps.. how high do you think hypptv bitrate?
Hypptv 10 mega bit per second? or 10 mega bytes per second. Hmm sorry i might confuse on this. then probably enough. and another problem is, sometimes the homeplug work sometimes not. I cant figure out why. Something wrong with the 13A near my hometown tv cabinet.
the rest of plug is OK.
yes 10 Megabit per second (Mbps - small b).. Check out
