optical modem = lifetime warranty if i'm not mistaken.so they can replace it FOC
router = not sure.one year maybe warranty maybe ?

the adapter r covered under lifetime warranty, but its troublesome coz have to wait them to come..

Fiber wall socket nailed to the wall.

They used those nails meant for securing the fiber to the wall for convenience. At least this one I can still pull out with pliers if the need to relocate it arises. As for the fiber termination box, they used a solid nail right down to the head. I would have to destroy that box in order to get the nail out.

In addition, those TM contractors asked for RM170 cash up-front for the installation because, the reason as given by said contractors, installing the fiber at the top floor of a double-story house is considered "over the ceiling" and incur additional charges. I gave them RM150 instead.

Any one have similar experiences? How much did you pay them?

you want extra phone line is it?

for biz package i think you can get up to 6 lines for RM25 per line per month (cheaper than normal fix line which is RM48 for business)

for vip i think 2 lines only, don't know how much per month. logically, should be less than RM25.

to get the extra line, just call CS. but, it will better to go to TM point and talk with them if you want to choose nice number. over the phone, they will just read available numbers to you, which is kind of hard. you might take the whole hour just to decide which number to accept. and the phone call is not free.

they will provide you with all the equipment, but since the BTU already have one RJ11, if you just add 1 line they will just bring 1 normal phone. not wireless phone. but in my case, the phone was spoilt, and they have only wireless phone in their van. so we got wireless phone. which we didn't use btw because that line is for fax.

Sounds complicated. Anyway, I have mine in the furthest front room on the second floor. lol

Is it true theres an offer going around for an upgrade from your existing package with a mere RM20 increment?

Currently my setup is the unifi modem and router at my second floor of my house, but my living room is downstairs.. any suggestion how to use IPTV in the living room? I'm wasting my money now for half a year by not watching the IPTV..

it transfer data thru ur electric wiring.. thats y need same phase wiring.
simple way to check, if ur house use single phase only 1 main fuse at meter. 3 phase 3 fuse.

Like that its unsuitable to use homeplug, as ur 1st n 2nd floor using different phase..
However u can try, if lucky it will function...
Im not using homeplug, this is just what i read/ remember from internet forum..
