QUOTE(Rayan92 @ Sep 28 2013, 07:51 PM) Hi people , thinking about getting the note 3 from maxis...How satisfied are you with the product? is it durable? I want a solid phone that will last for years..Any complaints about a defect or lag or quality issue etc..? Very satisfied. High end specs and first phone with 3GB RAM. Nice screen, good battery life. It's either this phone or HTC butterfly S or Sony xperia z1 or wait for the nexus 5 lol.. In fact I'm very happy with my Note II but now happier. Anyway, Chrome is really a battery drainer. If only stock browser can open pages in background, I wouldn't have started using Chrome. Sigh. |

QUOTE(881118 @ Sep 28 2013, 10:24 PM) I also want SGP neo hybrid, but I think it is pre-order only. The US version is still expensive for me, maybe I will just get the Korean version.probably will launch 10-October something. Waiting someone kind enough to bulk it. As I posted very detailed information few pages earlier. I really like the yellow colour. |

QUOTE(emy_xvidia @ Sep 28 2013, 10:53 PM) Clear-typed TPU case? it'll attract dust and visible somemore, in which it'll turn your phone to a 'dustbin.' Not cool sis, not cool.... You don't try to tempt me la. I have used clear type for my Note II. Maybe I'll just import mine from China if I decided to get the SGP casing. QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Sep 28 2013, 10:58 PM) It seems so. |

QUOTE(881118 @ Sep 28 2013, 11:03 PM) Will consider, shall inform here. But Korean version ya, the seller claims it is original but I cannot verify the authenticity with my limited knowledge. So buy at your own risk. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 28 2013, 11:27 PM) Oh is it? QUOTE(mtgh @ Sep 28 2013, 11:44 PM) Not yet buy, will buy from China.QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 29 2013, 12:15 AM) Some one mentioned that stock browser cannot have multi windows/tab. Just tap the folder icon on top to open new tabs I think you probably meant me because I was the one made noise about its stock browser. [attachmentid=3651048] Yes, I know can open new tabs. But if I want to open any new link, it can't be opened in background page and let it load on its own. It can only open in a new window and will auto switch to this new window. Then, I need to tap to go back to the initial tab. For e.g. if I surf LYN, I usually search results in one page and open the links one by one in background. Can open up to 10 tabs at one time. But Note 3's stock browser just can open in new window and it will auto change my current window to the newly opened window. So, I will need to keep tapping back to the initial window. (I hope you get what I was trying to explain |

Agreed. Note 3's S-Pen is really awesome. Seldom used it on my Note II but it is too good to be neglected for Note 3.
*Side note. Just banged my car when tried to park into house. |

Not really keen in custom ROM anymore after endless of flashing in my Note II.
I just want it to be able to root for more freedom. I miss AdAway and TiBu Pro. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 29 2013, 01:23 AM) I was reading the thread on mobile most of the day. The scrapbook feature helped me bookmark all the useful posts so that I can now slowly add to page 1. Actually, the S-Pen (hardware) is just similar like the one in Note II but it is the Air Command that has the "wow" factor. Damn man...really Samsung has +99'd the S-Pen. Zotero on steroids.... Of all features in Air Command, Scrapbooker is my favourite. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 29 2013, 01:33 AM) Sandisk has probably fixed this issue, since there are no more recent reports of failure. I bought mine in Dec 2012 and it's still running fine. I would say pure luck. I bought mine from Sri Computer one day after I got my Note II, that was in mid of October 2012 and it is still working perfectly well till today. I got a Kingston 64GB Class 10 as well, still holding up. The concern with Samsung is that I don't know who's the local distributor. It will help if anyone can shed light on this. It is now stored in my Note III. This post has been edited by fruitie: Sep 29 2013, 01:36 AM |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 29 2013, 01:45 AM) Oo..rooting can be done edi. Yeah, knew about the availability of rooting from first page but what I meant was the Knox issue. But you'll get 0x1 flag lar. But Thailand got Note3 with SELinux permissive status hence they not yet have Knox warranty/kernel flag. Their model N900 without the 5..odd ehh.? Samsung nearly didn't honour my Note II's warranty when I faced random SDS, no thanks to rooting. So, gotta play safe with Note 3. This post has been edited by fruitie: Sep 29 2013, 01:48 AM |
