I see from Lazada, they got put "this is an OEM product" in the picture. What does it means?

I suspected this is imitation XiaoMi Car Dash DVR, hence it put it as OEM instead of genuine/original product.
Previously it was stated as genuine XiaoMi Car Dash DVR with price tag RM368, even the URL to this page still have genuine word in it.

Question to all Dashcam owner:
Do you concern about the warranty (after sales service) provided by seller (or manufacture)? Or as long as it is cheap and working, it is all good?

I've tried before to claim warranty from Gearbest... You need to pay to send the item back to them in China. And they'll pay for shipping back to you.
*
Thanks... I saw that in http://www.gearbest.com/about/warranty-and-return.html smile.gif

QUOTE
One Year Free Repair Warranty
Unless otherwise noted on the product page, product warranty is one year counted from the date of purchase.
Within one year of the purchase date, buyers can return items for free repairs. Buyers pay the shipping fees for sending the item back, while we pay for the shipping fees for sending the repaired item back to the buyer.

*
You may get it from 11street with coupons + credits as below:

Citibank 20% (max RM35) + Best Cart 11% (max RM20) + Daily Check-in credits

If you have Bcard, you can convert your points as credits (100 Bpoints = RM1), or you may redeem the points for shipping coupon too.

You the sifu of car dashcam... thanks for sharing lots of information for us. thumbup.gif

QUOTE(coolstore @ Mar 30 2016, 01:19 PM)
basically ~RM20x is the cost of importing already

11st pay the profits margin to seller

buyer get cost price

buyer, seller win, 11st lose smile.gif

and i think soon enough can see fake yi dash cam appear in cn market then pop into malaysia market with lower than rm200 price tag
*
Yup... retail price in China is 349 yuan (around RM212), now we can get it cheaper around 300 yuan (around RM188), price is excluding ship to Malaysia.
I already checked in taobao the total price including shipping that would be around RM214, the only problem is warranty claim. doh.gif

Luckily 11street/Lazada do give out some coupon for additional rebate. icon_idea.gif

I'm agree with you that we shall see some fake yi dash cam soon, it just a matter of time.
Buy it locally from good reputation seller should be much safer.

Tks for the nice information.
Currently considering in between Gen5 and 11st.
Gen 5 187 - No Grey color
11st 220 after voucher off (free sandisk 16gb and 3M cable clip) - Both color available

Does the Gold Color catching eye?
*
Yes... no Grey colour in Gemfive. sad.gif

Catching eye? Depends on how people see it.
My recommendation is to take it out when you leave your car to avoid any break-in case, similar situation like Smart-tag.

Is there a typo on the product title? Ant shouldn't be there right?

Anyone bought and received their yi dashcam from gemfive?

I believe that would be typo error entered by seller, not a big issue. wink.gif

the Verson2 360 should able beat xiaomi yi dashcam way easily

the bad part of 360 ~ maybe its chinese only interface, no global brand awareness plan, only focus china mainland market
(background: 360 is a reputable software company in china long time already now switching producing hardware stuffs)
*
Wow... this look promising! thumbup.gif

You can msg Gemfive (either by email or in their fb together) and ask about it. Told them you got few friends bought before and shipment took around 2 to 3 working days only.
*
Not recommended to send email, call them up directly will be much faster. thumbsup.gif
My past experience with Gemfive - email follow-up can take more than one week to reply. bangwall.gif

Previously I not able to get XiaoMi Car DashCam from 11street and I finally got one in last Saturday for RM135, after applied RM90 coupon rebate via 11street.

Question to XiaoYi Dashcam owner:
Any idea where can I get the rear mirror holder mount locally in Klang Valley?
I have concern about the stock suction cup mount provided by Xiaoyi may fall-down sometime and eventually spoil the dashcam.
