I'm using clear acrylic double sided tape but that with the cable holder on the windscreen...

The GPS module is to track where you drive and how fast you're driving when viewing the videos on the GPS player... You no need to plug the GPS module if you don't require it.

Action cam is action cam. Dash cam is dash cam. Can't compare the 2 together...

Anyway newer action cam is starting to have more dash cam function. You see the Gitup Git2. Such a nice action cam that can be used as dash cam.

@joeyblur i already set up my d201 this morning but it seems that the coverage is not wide enough for my civic windscreen. some areas cannot be covered by the camera.

oh btw, where do you put the gps thingy? stick it on the windscreen?

I stucked mine on the dashboard near the roadtax but cable is not very long... You can stick on your A pillar... As long the GPS module is facing up with the double sided tape part is down...

I don't have a Civic to test... Hahaha... Only City and Viva...
