QUOTE(accetera @ Sep 21 2013, 10:04 PM) Please go to EcoSky tomorrow to see whether it is really hot or not. I'll be there.... The fact many friends tell me they willing to camp by a tent from now onwards. The pre registration was crowded enough....around 500 numbers registered for the launch of 1 block of 300+ units....crazy!!!!!

QUOTE(Wiredx @ Sep 21 2013, 10:42 PM) Two possible reasons for a hot market: 1-Population is growing in numbers rapidly and are getting more wealthy and need more and more houses, hence the good takeup rates for new launches. 2-People who made money from property in the past few years keep reinvesting and their friends and relatives are following suit, determined not to be left out, even though they themselves may not wish to live in the houses they buy. Which is it? Scared of further price increase, knowing some factors are not in favor for those waiting at the side line.

Actually i dont get why some bbb people feel excited and vindicated when they see the mad rush during new launches of expensive properties. IMO it just means their pool of potential customers are shrinking.

People not worried about the drastic cooling measures to be announced in the budget meeting next month meh? So most of the people are like me, tembak those without AP first like Ecosky. If cooling measures are bad, for Ecosky, I can still cancel without losing my deposit.

Which is it? Trick question? Definitely no.2....who's getting more wealthy these days anyway? The sticker game developers put on is quite old.....simply putting stickers on 80% of the units to make everyone think the property is hot. I saw some developments with almost SOLD OUT stickers just few days into launch....and a year later agents are still trying to sell developer units at increased prices. Crazy market.

Not a trick question. Some people really believe it is the first one, like a good percentage of malaysians are working overseas, employed by oil & gas firms, are doctors or are investment bankers and they're multiplying by the day
