Back in early till mid 90s there is big boom in property,  so much so that a lot of property u can't buy directly from developer, u need to pay membership fees to some Koperasi & buy though them,  those direct purchase u need to pass a huge sum of cash to the developers staff to slot ur name, but after the Asians financial crisis (in fact construction industries was already in trouble beginning mid 90s, I know coz 1 of my relative was supplying construction materials) many developer cabut & KV us full of abandoned project,  many people die standing as still need to pay bank while the house they bought is few tiang or in the middle of sky...lol
Lot of buyer end up paying for nothing as if they stop paying bank will blacklist them & cannot obtain loan in future,  if u r lucky enough some new developer will take over but u need to pay extra & cannot claim loses.

History is bound to repeat itself.
