You can use Nokia Smartcam for multiple shots

4-5 seconds is a bit of a lie.
I would say 1 to 2 seconds only. I just tried again before letting you know this.
Took one photo and count..101...102..then i was able to take another one.
Even while saving the photos you can snap another photo again in an instant.
Capture mode was on 5MP+34MP

Last time I had an event and won something with my group we took a lot of group photos which are normal one's and the 2nd sequence would be the freestyle ones. I don't notice a thing or feel that I need to wait for anything to take another photo.

You should test it out at Nokia Store yourself, so you can have a hand-on feel.
I hope Nokia Store demo has the latest firmware and latest app update though.

Rest assure you won't feel that much of a delay.
The issue is all gone now with the latest update.
Previously when I first bought it, it was definitely slow like 4-5 seconds.
Now you don't feel that much of a delay anymore. I am not sure if you want to buy it or not.
But maybe if you want too can wait a little longer maybe? Nokia phone price...drops quite fast.

The camera part is pretty solid for me no scratch yet. Once there was a time when I think there was but I rub it off and it's not really scratch.

For corner wounds i'm not pretty sure I got quite a few as well at one corner.
There might be something that i've done that cause it but I didn't notice.

No probably not anytime soon even one year of this also I doubt they will make anything that is like 1020.
And processor with better specs? Dude this is not Android btw. WP8 doesn't require you to have a good processor for it to not lagg. Even with good processor Android still lags.
Everything is fast and even smoother on WP8 if you compare with Android.

Even iPhone 5 with not that much core can beat Samsung one with a lot of cores.
What matters is the optimization of the OS not the processor or specs.

Maybe you read some reviews, probably all outdated since they don't update about it with the latest firmware update.
Numerous update has fixed this issue. Plus if you want multiple shots there is Smart Cam for that

Yeah it will receive update. We are waiting for the WP Blue which has the notification centre, siri like voice companion and other cool features.

The camera might be with 20/30 mp, not 41MP.
Still good la compared to other phones.
