I see. Thanks

The 2 other buttons is AF and I forgot. IINM, AF- Alternate Frequency for radio right?

That one is working in Malaysia. I go from state to state, radio channel still the same and it changes the frequency automatically.
*
IINM, AF, TA and REG...

AF-Auto frequency... is a method or circuit to automatically keep a resonant circuit tuned to the frequency of an incoming radio signal. It is primarily used in radio receivers to keep the receiver tuned to the frequency of the desired station, supported in Malaysia.
TA- refers to the broadcasting of a specific type of traffic report on the Radio Data System, not sure supported in Malaysia or not, since if not supported, the screen will never show the TRAFFIC word, but i bet no one or may small number of user is using it since it will interrupt your listening experience while u're driving...
REG-region setting, relate to PTY setting. but i let the setting default... not confirm what is the purpose of this function.. and only small amount of radio station support it...

icon_question.gif Hope you don't mind share how you solve the no maps found issue. I got the exact same problem. HU OS already 7.26 and map updated successful with lokatoo installer V6.0. Can view the SD Card files is there. This solution can also be update to the main page for others with same problem.
*
its ok.. i'll show you how I solve it, maybe you can try it. since it is the purpose of the forum right? to help each other, not to bash each other.... tongue.gif
when you enter you car, first thing to do is insert the micro sd card to the micro sd card slot... remember, not in the SD card slot. just insert the small one... then, insert the keyfob... after that press the start button once, yr car will be at ACC mode... and the HU will be initialized... wait until it is ready, try to open navigation app... the key is, insert the micro sd card before you on your car... i mean before you start/ACC/ON...the HU will check for the availability of the micro sd card when it is initializing...

doh.gif I can't believe it. As simple as inserting the micro SD card instead of using it with the adapter. Didn't notice there is a micro SD slot. KUDOS for hafiz_tahir thumbup.gif

the adapter that comes with it, just in case that you want to use it with card reader for the map update purpose... map use micro sd not sd card. as for the SD card slot, it same purpose as USB... you can store mp3, vid and play it using HU->Media->SD Card.

Very useful information for those who want to update the map or using SD card as alternative to USB. rclxms.gif

Go to the Lokatoo website and follow the instructions to update the maps on your SD card. I had the same problem when I took the car. Check if your HU is 7.26 first though, the instructions are there as well.

If didn't insert the micro SD card, you'll get message "no maps found.....". Didn't get to try original file before updating. Make sure you have good internet connection when you run update installer for Lokatoo server to verify your map license in the micro SD card. The update installer file is big about 1.2GB and took about half an hour with good internet line to download. My HU OS is already updated to v7.26 when I received the vehicle.

Hi,

You can write to Lookato customer service at "customerservice@lokatoo.com" regarding the map update.
I also have the same problem with you and I made an appointment with them and they updated the maps for me at their office at Sunway less than 10 minutes. The address is "Amtel Cellular SDN BHD
5, Jalan PJS 7/19, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, … · +60-3-5632 6788

Good luck.

back button just "minimize" the apps... still in background. as for radio/media/aux/DVD, they only change mode... maybe you can try android way to close the apps.. there are plenty of method to close apps... via apps manager->running. via double tap/press home button. but I guess the running apps won't slow down your HU processing time since its just light apps. unless you play "chaotic ages" with your HU... tongue.gif

I'll try your suggestions. I opened both GPS and radio, but don't know how to close either one. rclxub.gif If you listen to radio suddenly you hear turn left, you have exceeded speed limit,.... So far the easiest way is pressing the HU power button. I did get some sort or error after opening few apps if I'm not mistaken gps, radio, bluetooth connectiong to phone.

no apps setting in the hu.. some apps detect the back button as exit. while home button will always keep apps running/in memory.

Read through the manual and nothing on closing apps except display opened apps by long press HOME button. Pressing the HU power button doesn't close the apps but only switch to clock display.
