Is a 6k rebate for last years model a good deal? Need your opinion since need to move quickly. The interest rate spike rumors is spooking me.

Well, I just submitted the loan documents. The SA showed me a picture he got through Whatsapp, with a table for the new interest rate for Proton cars in banks. 3.27%!!!!!!

He said, not confirmed, but will try to talk to the banks and see if can get a lower rate.

Yep definitely a good deal. I'm being offered 7.5k with 3 years free service. Not sure of the terms of the service though, if it covers the 60k service itself it can pay back the money. 60k is the first major one, cost comes to about 1.1k..referring to preve service charges.

Yeah, my rebate reduced to 7.5k because of this month no rebate promo from proton. But the 3 years service thing is new. My interest rate is 2.66% for 9 years but the bank only gave 85% loan because 2013 model.

yeah, and even this was because I applied for loan last month, delayed because I'm in the midst of changing dealer. Better rebate

1. got the 2.66% since i applied for the loan last month before the new interest rates took effect.
2. Dealer change can, just ask the bank to change dealer, this was done before I signed the agreement though, so no cash exchange took place yet.
3. 2014 Suprima S comes with 3 year free service already, that's the current promo by PROTON.

Quick update just paid the deposit to @vincent818 Hoping to get my Atlantic Blue SS by end of this week. I want that WxxxW plate

I think that depends on the dealer.Just check the condition thoroughly. Like for mine, I'm confident it's new stock since the dealer has to bring in new units for me.

Okay, loan agreement signed. I can almost feel my Blue SS. Just waiting for the running number to reach WxxxW. My SA says only next week can get.

Finally my patience paid off, got the number of my dreams. W8825W for my Atlantic Blue SS. Hoping can pick it up this weekend

Okay, got my SS finally.

Problems noticed so far :
1)Helicopter sound when braking
2)burnt smell when hit 160
3)GPS not working.

Otherwise, I'm exceedingly happy with the car

Definitely not ABS, people have claim from SC for this issue. SD card in, even my SA admit got problem. SC told me to just download the maps myself and update, faster. Hahaha. The burnt smell I guess is the excess oil, since it was <100km when I tried S mode to hit 160.

Really? Damn, I hope they find the RC for yours. Anyway does anyone know if it's normal for the hazard lights to flash for sometime when cold start in the morning? First time cold start today, can see the engine cranking much more than usual. The hazard lights blinking was weird though.

3 step = place key, press start, wait for for the clock to appear on the radio, press brake, green light, press start again. This the procedure I follow. Is this the right way?

So need to press the start button twice after placing the key before stepping on the brake?
