QUOTE(1qaz1qaz @ Mar 24 2016, 12:08 PM) arr? i tot one check point? whr u check ur passport then go to the xray check? then AA boarding check? From experience, usually is the 1st checkpoint before you even step in for 1st X-ray. I've seen air crew stood beside the uniformed officers scrutinizing passengers. Once, I saw a malay guy travel in a team was stopped and told to check in his somewhat 46L backpack because he exceeded the sized allowed. Again, it's your luck really.

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Mar 24 2016, 02:11 PM) just wondering is there another screening at the gate after the custom check? this is to Taiwan. From Taiwan, you mean? if so, the check in counter will require you to show your carry on bag and request to weigh it if necessary and stick a sticker. after custom check, there is no more checking.

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Mar 24 2016, 03:06 PM) no, to taiwan in klia2 reason is if they have another screening right before boarding then i have to throw the fluids, etc that i bought after checked in It will be like this: 1. Uniformed officers checking boarding pass 2. Immigration 3. 1st Security check - here you can loiter around shops 4. 2nd Security Check (strictly no liquid bottle) - after this you can buy water or refill water bottle from dispenser (which is like super far and rare in KLIA2) 5. Boarding That's it. Not only for Taiwan but applicable to Taiwan bound passenger as well (Gates P and Q).

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Mar 26 2016, 04:10 PM) Yea KLIA2. I saw them selling water in plastic cups where like you tapao water to drink. I remember got friend ask before whether got sell bottle water or not and they say no. Not sure maybe now diff. I always bring my own bottles so will fill up before each flight. me, too. Water bottle, filled in from their filtered tap and bring onboard.

QUOTE(ZZMsia @ May 18 2016, 08:19 AM) This is not true. If you are a seasoned traveler with Air asia, you will know how to make sure that the final charge is not far from the initial amount. Tip: When you search flight . Say Departure: RM100, Return: RM168, You must make sure you check that throughout the process this amount is the same/slightly increase according to the add ons. If it suddenly shoot up twice, it should trigger you to check why/how it increased. The way I understood it, I think there were double transaction posted to the credit card.

QUOTE(cappuccino vs latte @ Jun 1 2016, 05:50 PM) My flight been rescheduled and eligible to claim full refund. Case created and nothing heard from them until now. The chatroom staff said within 10 working days will get the full refund. It is basically unachievable. Disappointed with this airline. try raise a complaint on their facebook fan page.

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jun 15 2016, 11:13 AM) u will surely come back again for sure thats why some ppl go to bangkok numerous times a year they know bangkok road more than KL's road Just came back from one last week. The road traffic is wow! The local said it will jam 18 hours a day! LOL! Shopping malls are more than KL! One very fascinating high-end 'designer' mall is Siam Discovery, you've gotta check it out. It's artistic!

a friend told me he saw someone asking for hot water on flight and the stewardess delivered one in mug without asking for payment.
does that mean, water (other than mineral water) on flight is free?

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jun 20 2016, 03:53 PM) this is what saving cost and web check in ruin an airline other airline web check in unnecessary...still the same 2 hours must arrive at airport AA with no web check in is 4 hours?...something is seriously wrong with AA But if i have no luggage and already web checked in 14 days before departure and printed my boarding pass, I could just arrive at the airport 1 hour before and walk straight to the immigration, then boarding gate directly. The fact that 4 hours is being requested for those who has not web checked in is due to the fact that the volume for AA is way higher than the non-budget airlines. Same logic goes, if there is low volume on AA, there is no need to be 4 hours earlier.

QUOTE(starry @ Jun 22 2016, 11:44 PM) Hi, Can't seem to book and pay for flight. When I clicked on payment, keeps getting this "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://booking2.airasia.com/Payment.aspx" on this server. Reference #18.16556acb.1466609979.5ff064a8" Anyone knows how to solve this? [attachmentid=6911593] I thought there was an announcement about server maintenance on 22Jun?
