Everyone please factory reset after upgrading to 4.3. Will save you lots of problems.

Don't forget to make a backup prior to the reset.
*
Btw mudkipryan94 please put this as a warning on the first page, as it will definitely help you and most of the users here

Stop spreading misinformation. There is no rule that one has to do a factory reset after an os upgrade. An os upgrade is designed to allow users to continue using their phones without having to re-install everything again like after flashing. App incompatibilities can be tackled individually while a factory reset should be the last resort when you have nothing left to try.

Bro, its not a rule, its just a suggestion icon_rolleyes.gif

Wanna ask, what are the methods of restoring once a factory reset is done? Will the restore be able to keep all data of all apps as it was before a hard reset? Thanks. smile.gif
*
Unless your phone is rooted, or have another phone thats is rooted, then its possible. If not, sorry, theres nothing we can do for now sweat.gif

Might be a rouge app. Try factory reset, and leave it in that way for few days. If problem still persist, off to service centre then.

KitKat 4.4

A good read for KK4.4, but....

QUOTE
Improved Security
Android 4.4 now uses SELinux enforcing mode in order to block potential policy violations within an SELinux domain. KitKat also improves upon the cryptographic algorithms by adding support for two additional algorithms. Further, Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) support was added to the keystore to improve digital signing, and Scrypt Key Derivation Function is used to protect crypto keys used in full-disk encryption.

Ouch.
