Likely a battery calibration issue instead isn't it. Often happens when flashing new rom.

QUOTE(ahodil @ Oct 27 2013, 09:18 AM) You asked me about battery life a weeks ago. I couldn't test it because of random reboots. But I suspected it was better than stock rom through my limited time testing it. Since random reboots are now fixed, testing becomes a lot easier as you have shown Yeah, custom rom can have better battery life than stock rom. The reasons are simple, less bloat, thus less services runnng in the background chewing precious cpu cycles, ability to undervolt which reduces power consumption, etc. It is possible to become more stable too. My sgs i9000 running cm gingerbread was a lot faster and stable than samsung's stock gingerbread rom. |

Everyone please factory reset after upgrading to 4.3. Will save you lots of problems.
Don't forget to make a backup prior to the reset. |

QUOTE(KennyKB @ Oct 31 2013, 02:28 PM) Stop spreading misinformation. There is no rule that one has to do a factory reset after an os upgrade. An os upgrade is designed to allow users to continue using their phones without having to re-install everything again like after flashing. App incompatibilities can be tackled individually while a factory reset should be the last resort when you have nothing left to try. It'd take some time to clear cache and dalvik cache. factory reset will help in that matter. The phone should run smooth after a while using it thanks to TRIM.Also, with Helium app, factory reset and restore is quick to do. |
