All updates, wifi i installed is d latest version 99.187 dated feb 2014 from asus support page.
thanks... actually did the same yesterday.
found the time to update the bios (honestly, i got some weird error when Windows was rebooting but all was ok after that).
also checked the list of drivers and updated anything that is dated Feb 2014. there were a few things like some Intel HotFix, Trust thingy, wifi thingy, BT thingy, etc...
some didn't really work. -- says already installed. i do really now.. how painful Windows can still be when it comes to such things, unlike Android tablets where firmware update fixes most things and we can easily tell what is updated and what is not.
asus should have a tool that checks and lets us know what is updated and what is not -- that way, we can then select what we want to update. as it was with me yesterday, i decided to just download whatever is Feb 2014. there could have been things that is Jan 2014, but i decided not to bother.
and weird thing... even after updating from asus website, when i check windows update, it still says there's a recommended wifi update (under windows update menu). this one... weird. its dated 2013, i think. i believe this is the broken update that will kill the wifi. so, i ignored it.
