Yea cikgu. Correct correct. Last time 3G was introduced and we all had to change our sim to the 3G ones. Same applies for LTE I guess.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 17 2013, 04:51 PM) True la. But I'm sorry to say each time I feel lag, I check RAM sure left very little only. bloatware is also the cause. remove the bloatwares as well will do the trick. i freeze all bloatwares in phone n with all the customization i made, i juz use around 1GB of RAM.If got other issue, I dunno. But I can see only RAM issue. I never use 2GB device. For Mega 6.3 RAM is 1.5GB, when it lag, I check the RAM utility by Samsung. Its RED color. |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 17 2013, 05:19 PM) If RAM management are as good as what google say, bloatware loaded into RAM won't affect your phone also. True or not? Indirectly you're saying that RAM management is not really that good for Android and as you say, you need around 1GB RAM free for almost lag free experience. Not sure if you got what I meant. bloatwares/unoptimized apps are usually constantly running process/service which uses up the resources. android architecture frees memory without disturbing a running process, bloatware disallows the OS from clearing it up (coz it's always running). RAM management being good is the reason why i have so much free RAM due to not much bloatware occupying the resource that should've been freed by the OS. |

some tolerate problems better than others. I remember when I got Moto RAZR and had it gone for warranty for 3 times. back then, 7.1mm is very thin and very complicated circuit work. Yet I stick to it and it's still one of the phone that people will go "wow...what phone is that?" "wah...motorola still exist ar?"
this XZU may likely get such fate but it's really nice when u get the bugless XZU unit. with 6.5mm thickness, there'll always be problems due to the complexity of the inside to give such thin profile but as consumer, u can claim warranty til u get the perfect unit. warranty is there to secure ur right to get the perfect product. don't be afraid to use it. and another thing is about ppl jumping ship...ppl sell off their XZU jz mean their XZU is in different hand...y make it sound like the ppl are hating it and the phone is no longer in this world? the person who bought it must love it kan? XZU is one of the first (or rly is the first?) S800 device that got to the Malaysian market and I'm happy to own it. So yea again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. |

QUOTE(farhathaniff @ Sep 17 2013, 11:33 PM) Guys and z ultranians, just two days of usage, and updated to latest firmware on day of purchase, my ZU now will not wake up from sleep. repair ur firmware via PCC SOD? Ive noticed a minor bug where i couldn't open up my small widgets, so i restart the phone. Thats when i noticed the so called fake hang, where the light turns on but black screen. I left for 5 mins and everything is back to normal. I rechecked my display settings; had Optimize screen off, and auto adjust on. After it went to sleep....... No more. Black screen, no light, no notification light, no vibrate...nothing. Its dead. Its been 30 mins, hard reset, pressed button 50 times, long press, nothing.. Update: it suddenly vibrated and now i got notification light blinking in blue every 1 second, but still totally black screen, no backlight and no response to any button pressed. Help? |

QUOTE(farhathaniff @ Sep 18 2013, 12:51 AM) Hey guys, quick question. I downloaded an app where you can use the volume rocker as shutter button like ios6/7, if I am underwater, can it be pressed? I heard that with some phones, key pressing underwater can cause water to flow into the phone through the keys itself. Is this true with ZU aswell? we have yet to find suitable candidate to proof the waterproof button press theory Also, swimming pool with some salt and chlorine is fine right? Not the ocean.. any clean water should be ok as long nothing deeper than 7 feet. ocean water nt reccommended due to sand/salt might enter/rust via the audio jack |

actually no brands dare put all trump cards in a single package. 1 or 2 features will drop off.
i remember Ubuntu come out with exclusive crowd-funding Ubuntu Edge campaign which packs very superb features but failed to win market. putting all trump cards will not benefit the company as they need to make ppl hunger for more and feed them with "surprise". XZU = multimedia monster Note 3 = Working class hero Z1 = reality shooter etc etc. rly cnt have everything in a package. u buy what fits u n make sure u get it exactly as advertised will satisfy u more. |

QUOTE(miloy2k @ Sep 19 2013, 07:56 AM) well not forget most of my friend who used sony, they have bad exp with Sony after sales service true this. a lot manufacturer face this prob coz they try to reduce operation costs...while samsung n apple got huge piggy bank to be more established. i oso got experience a lot prob with Sony after sales service but i can't blame the brand entirely coz they do produce good product linesexample for swk, sikit2 send kl, sikit2 send kl QUOTE(tonyyet @ Sep 19 2013, 09:04 AM) I think those info can just tell the spec of the lens, while post processing is a very important part. Sony did too much post processing and pulled up the ISO. Usually u'll get brighter images (indoor and low-light). I notice in Superior Auto and Normal mode, ISO is being pulled up to 2500, which is way too noisy. And then they tried to remove the noise and the final results lack of detail and sharpness. I believe its the camera software which makes the results underwhelming. true...i also set things manually. but to the casual snapper, i would suggest them to use other camera app than the stock. noticeably the Camera Zoom FX.I found that the camera can actually produce better images under ISO 800, while I set it manually in Normal mode. Hmm |
