My gosh, I plan to fix CH-40L model. They give me RM 870 include installation. But I need to pay those cooper stuff by myself and its around RM 170. However, I feel unsecure after I read so much of bad feedback. My question here, is it really electric saving? I had read electrical saving is only applicable to 100L Hybrid model and not for normal DC water tank. Is this true?

Still plan to fix either SEERS or Joven 30L...

Help me pls...

If your installation is RM800++ any saving in electricity also cannot recover the installation cost, unless you on the water heater for hours when u take a bath.

If u really wanna save cost, Solar Heater is the way to go, that also take years to recover

AC - irrespective whatever model, main concern is the leakage can kill
DC - irrespective whatever model, main advantage is the leakage probably non fatal.

solar, if you compare capex, against cheapest model, then probably more expensive.

my personal set-up:
Combo Grundfus Pump CH2-50PC (Supply) + Solar Power 60gE-C (Supply & Install) - RM4880.

plus full installation of piping and installation of pump, probably in the region on RM6k thereabout or RM7k.

i reckon electricity savings are approximately RM30 per month or so.
1 year save RM360 only.

If equivalent product maybe circa RM800 per unit including installation.
so i think in reality i would never recover the cost.

but based on experience, the bathing and even washing hands at sink experience have been second to none.
worth every single penny.

Why installing such fancy brand? To me, when come to Water Heater TANK type, i will go for JOVEN. I have installed 2. 1x already 14 years and 1 is around 20 years both in tip top condition.

Cheap, good, and reliable....
