Hi all,I am looking for a laptop with this criteria

1. Preferred brand: Any (preferably ASUS,Samsung and Toshiba)
2. Budget: RM3000 - RM 3700
3. Usage: Programming, Browsing(numerous number of tabs),Gaming (Dota 2, PES 2014 for now; hopefully can cater for upcoming PES and COD), entertainment
4. Preferred screen size: 14" and 15.6"

I wont be travelling alot with this laptop but still if possible, light and not bulky

Asus S550CB-CJ102H i5-3337U + Nvidia GT740M + 24GB mSATA + 500GB + (1366x768; touch)@RM2499[1.83kg], 4GB, W8

which one is better? i think S550CB with the 24GB ssd for cache will do better..correct me if i'm wrong thanks

actually, what is your usage into first? even though you have a SSD cache, your gaming and professional application performance will be bottleneck with poor CPU and GPU.

My usage would be coding (software development: might running lots of browser tabs, running wampserver and netbeans), gaming (might be done at the same time with coding), and watching movie. biggrin.gif

Hi, alot of sifus here recommended me this model:

My question is if compared with this model

Asus N550JV-CM041H ,i7-4700HQ + Nvidia Gt750M 4GB + (1920x1080-TOUCH SCREEN)@RM4899 , 8GB , 1TB, W8 , backlit keyboard

Does the difference alot?

I spotted that the latest one have more powerfull GPU, touch screen and more RAM..as for the touch screen I dont really looking for touch screen laptop and RAM wise can upgrade ownself..So i need opinions on which model to get..Really in need help on this..TIA

I personally also think the touch screen is just a gimmick..btw,the Asus N550JV-CN077H 2GB GPU is DDR5? The seller told me is 2GB DDR3..is there alot diff between gpu ddr5 and ddr3 vram? sorry for the noob question sad.gif Thanks
