If comparing performance and bang for buck, desktop will definitely be better than laptop
If you are not planning to bring your PC around, then a desktop is a viable choice. Otherwise, forget about it haha Unless if you enjoy lugging your CPU and monitor around wherever you go

Just stick to the GE60-2OC if your budget is limited
The smaller profile will mean better portability

If you have a budget of up to RM4.5k, its better to look at Illegear notebooks instead i.e. RE-15, RS-15 Lite

There is only one 17" budget notebook

This notebook is not really meant for heavy tasks and gaming unfortunately
You will need at least RM2k for a gaming-capable notebook
