I think only the S400 comes with touchscreen for that price range. Its a pretty good choice I would say since it comes with mSATA SSD as stock

Its sort of a Windows "MacBook" (quoted from a fellow forumer haha ), which is a good description of what it is. A premium notebook with specs that make sense. And of course, suitable for your usage

The previous Z400/500 were designed in such a way that its hard to upgrade the RAM or HDD (some sellers won't do it for free). I think the newer batch are also based on the same platform, so please do take note ya

Do you intend to install W7 yourself?
In terms of built and quality, I would prefer the Lenovo over the Dell. But in terms of warranty support, Dell is better (if covered)
