QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Nov 29 2013, 05:25 PM) The IT floor with food court and restaurants is quite well design though. There are quite some good food there, just not many people realize it. They need more promotion for that. |

looks like our prediction few months back saying reit's net yield may raise to 6% by price dropping another 10%. It's now happening.
What next? Warren Buffett's quote: ‘Stop trying to predict the direction of the stock market, the economy, interest rates, or elections.’ |

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Dec 1 2013, 08:41 AM) 1-2 year better don't buy reits. reits (stock price) should be either low growth or negative growth for the next 1-2 years ahead i guess. i hold some reits as steady income instrument with lower risk (only need to monitor them 3-6 months once, no need to spend much effort following their news flow). so a 5-10 years holding period is normal for my reit's holding. Just sharing my thoughts. |

QUOTE(CP88 @ Dec 3 2013, 08:27 PM) I got my stareit very high as well. i'd so far cut more than half of my stareit holding. Anyway, I thought Stareit was having a rights issue thing. Till now no news on it. yes, still no news on its fund raising details, so cannot expect above 8% yield, may see large dilution after the fund raising exercise. In fact, i'm expecting only 5%+ yield after the exercise. So I'll continue to sell in rally. |

QUOTE(lambethwalk @ Dec 3 2013, 08:42 PM) STAREIT "is" less volatile. those previously higher yield drops the least. all goes with yield balancing. if you compare the period when all reits started to get really weak: this was about give and take in june 2013. i take a bunch of more popular reits for comparison purposes a) CMMT 1.85 (3 june) .... today close 1.40 (3 dec) b) IGBREIT 1.34 " ... today close 1.21 c) STAREIT 1.14 " .... today close 1.03 d) PAVREIT 1.58 " .... today close 1.30 e) SUNREIT 1.63 " .....today close 1.27 which one drop the least? which one has best DY? people still treat stareit as if it doesn't required earning dilution after fund raising exercise. which we still have no details about it. Without dilution, stareit yield could be as high as above 8%. This post has been edited by yok70: Dec 3 2013, 08:47 PM |

QUOTE(lambethwalk @ Dec 3 2013, 09:06 PM) a shareholder brought up the dilution issue at stareit's agm. it was clarified by the board that dilution will not take place. couldn't remember what was the point brought forward. no dilution? really? that's a great news for Stareit if it's true. anyway talking about pessimistic, that should apply for all reits. im oso planning to cut loss on reits holdings to free up funds. but definitely won't cut my stareit |

QUOTE(gark @ Dec 4 2013, 11:43 AM) axreit net yield only 5%, your new baby cmmt net yield 6% leh. sunreit also close to 6%. even pavreit got 5.5% net now. axreit is consider 10% premium to premium reits now, the king of reit. (well, the fake reit klcc only 4.7% though) |
