all depent how much you hv and difference you expect can be bottom.

Mine worst case is IGBreits..becoz i sell my UT fund any buy it...

never expect such increase of MGS yield can depress in tandem .

if the amount you bought juz a few K lot, then your monthly topup can do so..might well juz top up when it go lower.

My case i need to save long long long time to save to average down, so when there opprtunity i try to top up slowly.

relatively 1-2 year of my saving investment slowly focus at IGBreits to break even.

i regret didnt do like the same like gark, displine yourself buying in fix rather show hand.

I also a greedy becoz the time MAXIS IPO time i also didnt put everyting making me a greedy fellow to put more now.

lesson learn....must see potential risk...never expected Qe tapering come faster than i expected. rclxub.gif

dont worry....change our investment appetite from Active to Passive one.

IF the investment for long term. then no such worry.

If looking for passive income can hold, still reits will be volatile due to Qe tpaering on & Off.

i agress with gark, the price hv volatile to come down due to QE, it not a time to lump sum to bet it away go up like last few year.

Juz go in slowly and steady...dont put a BIG hope it can go up like last 2year.

I tried setting a disipline cut loss at 20% ... but then, not easy to bypass our OWN EMOTIONAL MIND. with the hope that it will rebound.

Office: Towerreits

3: Good time or BAd time?
you may hear of Qe Tapering -, MGS interest rate hike - Reits will be volatile tandem to depress due to our MSG yield is up. Therefore dont lumpsum, slow enter for the yield investor comfortable.

4) RPGT rate and assessment rate KL
RPGT only concern to property disposal. No much effect; as reits dont diposal in short period after aquire.
Assesment only impact those reits property locate at KL, juz dig up yourself not all property at KL.
