Need to reset everything in my wife's Note II before sending it to SC for servicing as the GPS is unstable.  Can't really find the info on how to unroot in first page and i think my memory and flashing knowledege is quite rusty now.

Need confirmation for the following steps, pls correct/fill me in:
1.  Use PC Odin to flash stock rom.
2.  Use _____ to temp root.  (Can fill up for me which app to do this?)
3.  Run Triangle Away to remove the triangle.
4.  Done.

Ta first.

Then reflash stock.

Then fullwipe.

TA--->flash stock rom--->factory reset/wipe data--->check counter/status

p/s: you can't TA if you are unrooted right? Coz TA needs root.

I read somewhere can use temp root to do TA after doing the flash stock rom.  Is it Mobile Odin?  Can't remember. 

Btw, how to reset the counter if it has a record?  TA will reset it or another app?

You can try
- flash full stock firmware.
- install framaroot for rooting.
- TA to reset binary counter.
- go download mode to check binary status.
- if everything ok..unroot you phone via framaroot.
- do full wipe to get official status..
- done

have you tried the phone GPS without casing? aluminium casing affects the GPS reception

do a full wipe. ive experienced this after flashing without full wipe. after wipe no problem

Did u freeze apps in Tibu? I freeze so many samsung bloatwares and restarted my phone and it went stuck at the bootscreen. Lucky I have nandbackup.
