so far i not yet finish 2~3 cycle,
need to test 2 ~ 3 full battery cycle after the rom stable down then will know whether great,
but from last night overnight battery left around 39%,
wake up after nearly 10 hour battery left 32% though,.
although this is still on first cycle,..
will see how it did after 2~3 cycle,.

consider not bad at all with this result on dr.ketan rom V5 since i didnt really tweak any mod in the aroma installer when flashing,...

is there any flashing needed before flashing DrKetan's Custom ROM
i have followed all the guide it seems my phone only showing the boot screen (samsung galaxy note II)

yeah i have tried with super wipe but after finished installing the DrKetan's Custom ROM it hangs/stuck after finish installation (it doesnt reboot)
i pulled the battery then i turn on and it will stay at samsung note II screen

has any one here have an experiance phone hangs/freeze after locking the screen?

comparing with dn3 how does this rom performs? interms of stability and smoothness. Now hand itch want to try and flash considering the feature it offers compared to dn3, been flashing a lot since the new firmware releases

thanks for great info.. after reading mr chuahcs post about dr ketan rom, i want to try it. yes, dn3 v3 does feel lag compare to v1 n v2.

well i dont dare to say it is true, but it still depends on personal experience with it,
so far it working great for me,. plenty of ram left to do many thing,
plus can feel not so heavy in terms of how fast on the response level,.
no laggy or draggy so far for me,..

well i'm still learning,
but before any flashing,
we as a consumer have responsible to READ and did all the homework first before we start take action,.
well i did go through plenty of reading weeks on this thread first pages, youtube video and the xda forum on all the most popular rom,..

brb downloading now

speeds are capped at 200-250kbps only, will take 1-2 hour to download

Tried Dr Ketan Custom. Liked the rom but I absolutely HATE the N3 browser and how all the N3 stuff are "white" rather than dark = dark is best on amoled as bright colours actually makes it die faster.

So I rolled back to my old Wanam MI6 backup, and I have a problem with Wanam Xposed - which was there ever since I updated to the new WX, actually even before I went up to KetanV5. Every time I start the app (or when it autostarts at boot), it vibrates as if something is force closing in the BG.

Now trying to investigate why, so far I'm stumped though. Reading logcat reveals a reoccurring "error reporting failed" thing, but that's it.

I tried turning stuff on and off, and rolled back to a prev WX and the "ghost FC" is still there. Damn.

yeap, noticed that everything is bright now. the snote widget,favorite contact,schedule. Maybe they want their phone to die faster so that people will buy their next flagship phone in 1 year time

Why would u need it to last when you are always tempted to upgrade when the successor arrive?

Personally I do feel like everything is getting bored on iOS and Android. So bored until I wonder what do you need all those powerhouse for. At least you can still get good game with good frame rate and IQ in iOS, but don't know why in Android, the IQ really sucks (for some games like RR3 etc)

Just flashed Dr Ketan's v5. Agree this rom is so light & fast.
Luv the fast wake up from lock screen. This is a smoother
& faster rom then DN3. Don't feel any lag.
And i like the white keyboard.
Plenty of free ram as well.
Next will thru SPen .

It is exactly the same situation that exists now for notebooks and PCs. What more can you expect?

Maybe 3D projection and stuff.

Or a contact lens display on your eyes.
