Real dead end development we have right there huh.

As for why I want it to last? For one, black = battery life. For another, being a really heavy user means that my screen degrades twice as fast compared to a normal consumer (on average). Means that I might not even last through through a year without suffering permanent burn in damage and yellowing (due to dying blue diodes) with such a white heavy UI.

More importantly, I like black lol.

If anyone bumps into a way to get the old MI6 browser (or any AOSP browser) back in DrKCustom, do share. It's my biggest issue with it as of now.

I really don't like the new Chrome based browser one bit.

Yeah, same thing PC went through 5 years ago. I only upgraded mine lately when power supply kaput and lag when used with ASIO. However I think smartphone has more potential than PC to breakthrough this barrier. Only when...

Lately so many flashers. The thread is quite lively now. Seriously where are the custom kernels. Flashing rom is kinda boring nowadays.

Abandoned his kernel a while ago . Devil kernel is based on perseus

I suppose natural evolution of technology took its toll. Devs also love new toys, so they would have migrated to other, newer devices.

Fixed. Solution:
Reinstall ROM & maintain data, make changes in Multitool/Aroma. But will lose some addon fixes i.e TouchWiz launcher will FC again if change wallpaper from desktop.

I just luv Zooper Widget. Nice clean & simple. Really easy on the eye.

I got too much fc on dr ketan rom, some of them are fixed with the patch while some still persist. cant remember what i did wrong. Restoring back to DN3 since its difficult to use my phone like this. Will try and reflash back when i have the time.

btw i got one hand operation works in dr ketan rom, dunno why i cant get it to work in dn3

full charge take more than 3 hours.

sometimes phone lag/hang for 1 or 2 sec when surfing with chrome

the cable might be damage. try another cable.

That said, lots a people had FCs with MK4, especially those not running the latest BL and using the wifi patch. Although my short experience with DrKCustom was totally smooth and FC-less after flashing (with Philz, not TWRP).

Now back to MI6. Not having the full N3 experience is sorta sad but I'll manage - I love the old browser too much to go anywhere else.
