well they did mention they pull out all the expensive material and replace it with plastic to decrease the price .. spec wise wont be too far away . maybe about the same like 4s or 5.

Dont waste money guys, 5C and 5S is so dissapointing.. Apple bumped up 5S price, comparing with iPhone 5, and introduce slightly cheaper 5C, to make it looks like its a budget phone.
I rather wait for iPhone 6 with better screen, grab a Nexus 4 at the moment which is <rm1k until iPhone 6 is out |

5c 16GB 1899 5c 32GB 2099? 5s 16gb 2199 5s 32gb 2499 64gb 2799 Apple is really smart and this is exactly Apple's style. Did Apple ever say they are going to launch a Cheap iPhone? It's all our guess. You want cheap iphone? go for ip4s 8GB. Taking away ip5 and launch ip5c, this will stir up the market whereby a lot of ppl can "see" it instead of just drop ip5's price whereby no one realize it. I believe the case of ip5 is more costly, therefore with this strategic, they can save more even they drop the price. Therefore if you prefer ip5, then either wait for the telco to drop the price and faster grab one. btw from a lot of review, the plastic cover doesn't makes you feel "cheap" |

Iphone 5 owner here. The finger sensor thingy is quite cool. Overall, i quite satisfied with the phone since the phone is freaking faster, improved camera and overall i'm loving ios 7. But i probably will wait for iphone 6 though.haha

i don't see a reason for ip5 user to upgrade their phone to ip5c.
unless you want to try the 64bits chip + upgraded camera + fingerprint sensor. If i am ip5 user, i won't consider to upgrade... my s1 is 3 years old+ and its time for me to throw it away! |

Depending user preference as well i guess. IMO if 5C's price is similar to iP5 then the 5C would seem like a better buy, although its "plasticky". |

I can sense that iPhone 5c's future will be based on previous flagship's specs. Just like how iPhone 5 internals in the current 5c and iPhone 6 internals in the future 6c. This goes on and on.
I'm not in favor of the colors, seems to dull and not funky. Will see how in future if Apple comes up with new color cases. |

I do feel some of critic is harsh when 5C coming out.. Personally feel that plastic phone has their strength compare to metal. At least it is more durable for cosmetic & impact...Mayb we all think this plastic phone is cheap b4 release but actual is not matching what we think. Honestly speaking all colors are interesting. Also had a hard time choosing when I made my purchase.
Though I'm having the blue unit now, I'm pressed on getting the lime green unit as it's just so striking As for those who wanna match with casings, the white unit will be the most compatible with all sorts of casings. |

There's barely any casings available for the 5C in the market right now. And I'm talking about China, where most casings are produced. I'm waiting for the official "lubang-lubang" casing to be released to the Apple Stores here. Wanna buy that |

Currently loving my current white iPhone 5s 64GB but couldn't resist the temptation to get the Green Beauty iPhone 5c 16GB as a back up phone, whenever I run out the juice on my iPhone 5s. Loving the great color even though it feels a bit slippery to hold.

hi. i purchased my iphone 5c at 1gadget.
Singapore set. this is my 1st time using iphone. i just want to ask, why my iphone 5c battery drain so fast? i'm just using it for whatsapp, fb, and open safari to read lowyat forum and some blog. from my observation, i 100% charged at 9am. then going to work, whatsapp, fb, whatsapp, fb, yada yada yada. around 3-4pm almost battery become 5%. so fast drain! even my LG optimus 7 can stand until 10pm. im using 3g and off any unnecessarily app/background app that can drain my iphone battery. but, the outcome still the same. only can longer more than 1-2 hours compare to previous. so does it normal for iphone user? i mean does iphone battery drain very that fast? tq. What can i conclude: 1. If i switch to wifi connection, my battery can tahan a few hours more. 2. Follow the tips form gizmodo how to save battery, and it help! 3. From my observation, as im using umobile, at my workplace the signal not so good. So my phone try hard to sustain 3g coverage and i think it drain my battery fast. 4. Last but not least, whatsapp really2 suck up my phone battery. I try to see for few days and I will post my battery usage. Btw im so in love with my iphone 5c! I hope it can serve me well for next 1-2 years! So i can kumpul duit byk2, and upgrade to iphone 6! Or iphone air perhaps! Haha |

Is it normal for 'normal' usage? battery only left 14%. btw, this is my iphone. already switch off all unnecessary thing.

just now pass by blue cube and got hand on the iPhone 5C play around, my first impression is... look like iPod.
when I tested camera for fast click to snap many photos, it seems slow and laggy like android. although the spec quite similar to my current iPhone 5, but my iPhone 5 with iOS 7 perform faster and almost same compare to iOS 6.1.4 (95%), can tap many times to snap photos and successful, without laggy. omg, can't believe this plastic sold so expensive and still laggy... |

Different people have different point of views, it's just up to them to decide if 5c is good or not, some people have high budget that's why they are going for iPhone 5S , for those who doesn't have much budget will option for iPhone 5 or 5C , eventually , some people in their mindset . They already set iPhone 5C consider as cheap plastic phone which gonna downgrade themself if he/she is using it.

If I havent changed to the IP 5S, most probably I will stick to my Old IP5. I think the plastic and the bright colours will apply to kids or teenagers or maybe max college students. If I were to wear my office wear or suit with a bright yellow IP5C, I dont think it goes down well. Well, that is just my personal opinion.
