hi. i purchased my iphone 5c at 1gadget.
Singapore set.
this is my 1st time using iphone.

i just want to ask, why my iphone 5c battery drain so fast? i'm just using it for whatsapp, fb, and open safari to read lowyat forum and some blog.

from my observation, i 100% charged at 9am. then going to work, whatsapp, fb, whatsapp, fb, yada yada yada. around 3-4pm almost battery become 5%. so fast drain! even my LG optimus 7 can stand until 10pm.

im using 3g and off any unnecessarily app/background app that can drain my iphone battery. but, the outcome still the same. only can longer more than 1-2 hours compare to previous.

so does it normal for iphone user? i mean does iphone battery drain very that fast? tq.

Ok guys. Thank you so much for your view and suggestion.
What can i conclude:
1. If i switch to wifi connection, my battery can tahan a few hours more.
2. Follow the tips form gizmodo how to save battery, and it help!
3. From my observation, as im using umobile, at my workplace the signal not so good. So my phone try hard to sustain 3g coverage and i think it drain my battery fast.
4. Last but not least, whatsapp really2 suck up my phone battery. tongue.gif

I try to see for few days and I will post my battery usage.

Btw im so in love with my iphone 5c! I hope it can serve me well for next 1-2 years! So i can kumpul duit byk2, and upgrade to iphone 6! Or iphone air perhaps! Haha

Is it normal for 'normal' usage? battery only left 14%. btw, this is my iphone. already switch off all unnecessary thing.

and compare to this,

this pic i got from this review. http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mo...179311/review/9

5 hours usage and 11-12 hours stanby.
the techradar battery got 63%!
but my iphone 14% left. hmmm.
what should i do eh?

guys, i got a problem with my iphone 5c.
i bought SG set from 1gadget.
currently on ios 7.1

i'm an average user. only use seldomly for fb, whatsapp and also instagram.
previously, my phone battery can up to 5 hours usage time with 12 hours standby. (i'm not sure its normal or not)

but, for the past 2-3 days, my phone battery become not consistent. sometimes it can up to 2hrs 30min usage time with 10 hrs standby.

what i'm worried is, my battery % not consistent. from 100% fully charge, about 1 hour standby time, it jump to 60%. when i charge it back, the battery % become 80%.

then, when my iphone battery become 25%, i just leave it on the table about 15 minutes, got msg, check, the battery % decresing to 1%!

quite weird actually. i don't know what to do now. is it normal or not?
and should i change the battery or should i claimed the warranty.
because my phone still under warranty, however in SG. sad.gif

have you tried to recalibrate the battery by fully discharge the battery till it turn off and charge back to 100% once a month?

from the looks of it might be a calibration issue.. if its still not solve after battery calibration u may want to send it back to apple for warranty... might be the battery are already starting to wear down or faulty...

but i have a hunch that the battery are already faulty... might as well send it for warranty back to apple as i assume your warranty are still valid...

yup! before this i already recalibrate my battery. but, now i can't. because, the phone will off automatically before it reached 1%.

today, my iphone suddenly shut off at 60%! and when i try to start it, the iphone screen shows no battery and need to connect with power supply.

when i connect with electric supply, take around 1 minutes to loading and the screen show 59% battery status.

hmm. i don't know if my battery got problem or my ios.

I also already reset my phone and enter DFU mode, but problem still persist.

already contacted apple store malaysia, but the customer service quite lousy.

my phone still under warranty. if i send my phone to one gadget dot com back, i don't know what they can do with my iphone.

any suggestion guys?
