Some places they offer you around RM700-800 and they cover it under warranty, but as usual, the replacement unit is a refurbished unit by Apple.

Well, 5c is about to get a lighter price-tag soon. Apple has quietly announced an 8GB version, the rest sticks the same.

guys, i got a problem with my iphone 5c.
i bought SG set from 1gadget.
currently on ios 7.1

i'm an average user. only use seldomly for fb, whatsapp and also instagram.
previously, my phone battery can up to 5 hours usage time with 12 hours standby. (i'm not sure its normal or not)

but, for the past 2-3 days, my phone battery become not consistent. sometimes it can up to 2hrs 30min usage time with 10 hrs standby.

what i'm worried is, my battery % not consistent. from 100% fully charge, about 1 hour standby time, it jump to 60%. when i charge it back, the battery % become 80%.

then, when my iphone battery become 25%, i just leave it on the table about 15 minutes, got msg, check, the battery % decresing to 1%!

quite weird actually. i don't know what to do now. is it normal or not?
and should i change the battery or should i claimed the warranty.
because my phone still under warranty, however in SG.

have you tried to recalibrate the battery by fully discharge the battery till it turn off and charge back to 100% once a month?

from the looks of it might be a calibration issue.. if its still not solve after battery calibration u may want to send it back to apple for warranty... might be the battery are already starting to wear down or faulty...

but i have a hunch that the battery are already faulty... might as well send it for warranty back to apple as i assume your warranty are still valid...

yup! before this i already recalibrate my battery. but, now i can't. because, the phone will off automatically before it reached 1%.

today, my iphone suddenly shut off at 60%! and when i try to start it, the iphone screen shows no battery and need to connect with power supply.

when i connect with electric supply, take around 1 minutes to loading and the screen show 59% battery status.

hmm. i don't know if my battery got problem or my ios.

I also already reset my phone and enter DFU mode, but problem still persist.

already contacted apple store malaysia, but the customer service quite lousy.

my phone still under warranty. if i send my phone to one gadget dot com back, i don't know what they can do with my iphone.

any suggestion guys?

Check your warranty coverage..

There is 2 ways either u send it back to one gadget dot com and they will help you send back to apple for warranty replacement or u can try go to apple store in Singapore where you can make 1 to 1 exchange...

About sending to machines or any apple partner in Malaysia I am not so sure... But the best way is thru calling apple Malaysia and ask where should you proceed from there as ur still under warranty coverage...

Hey did anyone have this problem where your auto brightness toggle is is missing? I am new to the iphone 5c which is passed down by my dad since he upgrade, the back phone is full of hairline scratches since he is not using any case except screen protector.
Is there any way to remove the scratches?
Thinking to buy the original apple 5c case but the dots pattern turns me off and its naked all the time since there are scratches already.

Hye guys! Bought my ip5c unit yesterday, put it in a casing straight away after hearing the proneness of the back side to scratches. The battery seems to run down quite fast yesterday hmm. It was down to 44% this morning from 69% last night with my wifi off. It gets better after few charging cycle right?

Reset to factory setting already done..

Restore device? Just hit restore in iTunes.

Ip5c green user here Feel so comfortable with the design even without cases.

Better becareful with that scratch prone back.
My beautiful blue 5C was badly scratched in just one month of usage.
And I consider myself a pretty good carer of phones.
