I did not mean the 1st plan (RM58)

I mean sign up for the plan as usual first, and then cancel it after 1-3 months later

Usually you have to pay remaining contract value. This means you pay 21 x 148.

Come on....they're not stupid.

As usual, Maxis is always the last celco to reveal their plans.  Maybe they wait for their competitors to show hand first.  laugh.gif  For Note II, iirc, we only knew the plan just 1 or 2 days before the launch and it is not attractive at all.  sleep.gif

1 month later they launched the surfmore plans for note2 which were quite attractive. ... mad.gif

So I'm willing to wait a bit this time.

Anyway I was having a 2 hr discussion and suddenly about 150 posts on the lottery.... lol.

I think Samsung is playing their marketing very well. Lots of buzz in the local blogosphere for sure.

it was either note3 or XZU, but note3 comes with LTE and bundle w telcos, whereas XZU nothing, how come ar?

For some reason, Sony fell out of favor with the telcos in the last 2 years, so that's why you don't see Sony on telco lists a lot.

Maybe it will change, but who knows?

Samsung releases an app in the UK....

http://www.sammobile.com/2013/09/18/samsun...-app-in-the-uk/

Samsung UK today published a new app for Galaxy owners in the Play Store. The app known as My Galaxy brings lots of new and exciting offers, information to the user’s device that they can take advantage of. Samsung says the app will notify users of any exclusive offers related to movies, music or even tickets to live events.

The app even educates the consumers with the latest Samsung accessories, notifies about the latest software update for the device and even features an interactive walkthrough of features.

The Samsung My Galaxy app is available to download from Google Play now for Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Fame and Galaxy S III Mini customers. My Galaxy will be pre-installed on devices sold in the UK later in 2013.

We are hard at work cooking a special supper preview for you, featuring the hottest Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Look for it on our homepage later this evening. It's one of the best phablets right now, but beware as the HTC One Max, the LG Vu3 and the Nokia Lumia 1520 are just around the corner.

My take ..... No active digitizer no talk ........ ALL the rest are just larger phones.

Sifu @joytest always with his active digitizer thingy..  laugh.gif

I guess, simply say, Note series is the only available phone for u.. So your shopping list is very easy. So you are officially a Note fanboy. notworthy.gif

Well, anyone can have a big screen, faster CPU, larger eMMC...... nobody else has an active digitizer. Yes, I have always wanted an active digitizer ever since the first convertibles came with them, costing around 8k++

I almost got an S2 until I heard of the Note 1 at around the same RRP at launch, so it was a no brainer.
