If u found something stuck inside jack hole,try take out.inside have micro switch that will detect anything and switch to headphone mode.last time just put hole cover,and the phone detect headphone jack.then will make ur speaker disable.

No sure I can't see inside.

U can try use ur headphone jack put inside the hole.if cannot fully pull the jack,there will be something stuck inside.
If this case, the phone not faulty n u are very2 lucky.

Gonna check with Sony service center but camera got black dot issue also

Got my XPZ back after 4 working days.

Camera replacement due to black dot (under warranty).

They only replace the camera module, no 1:1 new phone exchange.

They updated to latest firmware too.

I checked out the mamagnification gestures -- it was already off.

I think I've figured out the problem. Seems to be wallpaper size related. Because the issue stopped when I use the stock wallpapers. Where do you guys usually find wallpapers, and when you use a picture as wallpaper, do you resize/crop it?

Free replacement?

Did they give any reason on not providing 1:1? Some members here got 1:1 for Z since the waterproofing will be compromised if they open up the chassis.

Black dots at camera is covered by warranty. For ZL, they just change the camera module.

Normally wait how long?

If still under 1 year warranty period, yes free replacement.

I did enquire about the waterproof part, and the girl over the counter said they will test everything out, including the waterproof feature before returning it.

What's the remote control app which came with ZL called? Uninstalled all my preinstalled apps, couldn't find it back.
Is it in Play Store?

I think it's 4 or 5 working days.

- Doubtful waterproofing with some units.
- Back glass easy to crack and expensive to repair (RM9xx).

zzz finally got 2.67 update via ota...53.1mb.

My unit fall twice from waist height into tiles but not a scratch. My unit got problems with charging if battery is low. It won't detect charger has to try many time.
Other people report black dot on camera, the back goes unglued. some people claim the screen is wash out and poor viewing angle. But I cannot find anything when compared to my nexus 10.
