If members suddenly want to cancel and not to participate before our representative talk to
the bank, this is absolutely fine, no problem at all.

Even after we talk to the bank, members want to cancel also can. No hard feeling la, we are
still buddies la.. 

Because this is their own money, we have no right to force members to participate this plan.

Based on the number of participating members, we know roughly how much funds we can
consolidate.
Nobody will run away members' monies la. How to run? 

Each member will bring their own money/check to go to their desired local bank branch to place
FDs at special rate with their own names on their FD certs.

However, if you have PB, it was not too bad. Here are some of the benefits I experienced:

FDs earn money on money you have saved (and can still use).

CCs 'earn' money on money you spent. If you didn't spend that money you'd have more.

Of course, there's always required spending, but anything above that, no matter your CC give you 50% cashback, you're still not 'earning' money, just spending a bit less.

Don't have la, max also 7% or so (AMEX on the Maybank2Kards). Just using example, even if 50% still doesn't mean you're earning money. So lagi at 1-7% you're not 'earning'.

What is the surcharge ah? I'm only paying government tax of RM50 per card, is that the surcharge?

like my case, i just present the points, why they should give me something free and they usually do. I would explain to them how much business they will lose and how stupid they would be if they don't give such a small rebate of 500 for example.
