I heard that you can "import" and "export" saved games from the Backup Utility. I'll be using that feature... Hope it works.

RX, nothing that great about F430 right ? The GTR is still a better car.

So, the replay can work or not ?

The only race i havent got gold is the S-Class Suzuka one. 10 laps, trying to catch the masked GTR... man, i really suck at suzuka.. lol

The F430 race is , help your teammate get 2nd place... the objective is to finish a 1-2 Ferrari ahead of the R8s. Took me 6-7 tries... that teammate is brain dead.

Well, for me, i need the high powered cars traction at 2 or 3 ... Those of us who plays without TC, i think setting it up around 2-3 is sufficient. Unless of course, you're driving a viper.. lol

The F430 mission is indeed frustrating... you can get either 1st or 2nd... just need both Ferrari finishing on top. Winning that race is rather easy, as the 430 outperforms the R8 at every way. Only trying to get the the brain dead AI to finish 2nd is a challenge.

The trick to this mission *****SPOILER******* (just in case)













Overtake the first R8, slow down until the 430 passes you. Then overtake the the 430, chase the other R8, overtake it, and slow down until your teammate passes too, finally overtake your teammate.

Do not overtake both R8, as your teammate will have a hard time overtaking two R8s at once.

Yeah... i get that very rarely... all we could do is , let go the controller and enjoy the view... Just too bad we cant feel the g-force when that happens... lol

We can do it if there's a way for us to share replay files to work. I sent 1 to RX, and it seems, it doesnt work... Any ideas ?

Yeah man, just too bad we can view or save replays from online races... Just wanna show how "brutal" the online can be at times... lol

Oh.. so RX, you have the downloaded version ? cos i'm using the bd version...

And to the rest of you guys who really tempting to get it... let me advice, from a long time gt fan, well, from GT1 on PsOne days...

Wait for the full game... here are my reasons.

1) Still buggy
2) Screen tearing
3) AI still not perfect
4) Online is mediocre at best (there's no guarantee a race is immediately available)
5) It's expensive for a "demo".

Rumour has it, End of 2008.. , but if the price is 130+.. as someone mentioned, i guess its cheap, considering most of us paid 160+ for it.

Just imagine someone could actually clock 50 hours on prologue.. how many hours we will clock on the full game. Well, i dare to say it.. i played gt4 for two years at least 4 times a week... until i finally gave away my ps2, just because i bought the ps3. Haha

Whoa !!!! The 599 handles like sh1+ . slight turn, and will lose the rear... damn hard to handle lar this 599... Havent won any medal for the 599 yet.. arghhh... So sorry bro.. no tips.. lol.

Easy way out, change back to Arcade mode. lol... but that defeats the purpose. sigh.

Hmm, you do the same when you finally done it... share a replay file too Honestly, if i can get a bronze, i'll be happy enough...

The online is at experimentation stage... relax ler... lol. If you notice a few days ago, i saw an online event for US and EU ... they are labelled something like US Test Server and EU Test server or something like that. hopefully that will reduce the traffic on the japanese servers a bit...
