Just wondering how much electricity does this LED use? Actually i got a very selfish wish, wish you could summarized your entire renovation (Before & After) then also share the cost and etc. LOL! But i think that's too much to askĀ  doh.gif

I'm looking back at its info on the packaging (sorry that the pic is upside-down)...it stated 75w for 5 meter, derives to 15w/meter. I just leave this led strips on in the evening till we go to bed. With that i can go in and out the kitchen anytime to drink water, get things from fridge, wash hand, passing thru it when going to the toilet, etc.

Err...about your request...can geh..but you guys really gotta give me some times... biggrin.gif

Your home looks like a posh art/furniture gallery. I love the natural light coming into the kitchen. smile.gif

Thanks for your compliments! Far distance yet from posh... tongue.gif
There is indeed quite good natural light sources thru out the whole house.. Which the pictures from camera really didn't do it justice~ biggrin.gif

Just dropping by to say thank you very much for your dedication in posting stuff and the amount of detail you bother to include in your posts. I'm sure there are many 'ghost readers' like me who learn a lot from your posts but do not say it here, so I'm representing them smile.gif

I'm going through my condo renovation myself and wish I could start a thread, but unfortunately the place I'm temporarily staying now does not have internet, so it's very hard to do it via my phone tongue.gif

So I just want to point out here that you may have helped more people  than you realize, and you deserve more recognition biggrin.gif

And last but not least, great looking house!

Today, i feel like having shower in the guest bathroom and found the floor trap is clogged. The water flew away pretty slow compared to our master bathroom and caused approx 2cm depth of flood. I lifted the middle tile piece and found quite some long and curly hairs which belong to my mum. tongue.gif
The bathroom was used by my mum and dad occasionally when they visit me. So, the usage for shower would've be less than 20 times... Conclusion, those with longer hair will have to clean the floor trap more often. For example, if my shoulder length hair will have to clean it once in 2 months, those with double or triple of my hair length will have to do it once a month or in couple of weeks.

For longer hair, those conventional floor trap (stainless steel or plastic) is still the better choice as the fallen hair can be easily picked up.

A random sharing:

I turned the cut-off-part of a Sarawak pineapple into a decor item like below-

I find that this kind of trap is very hard to dig it out for cleaning tho it looks nice. Everytime i have to use a fork to dig it out lol

I can easily lift it with my finger...Your fingers are bigger perhaps...hehehe... tongue.gif just kidding..
It maybe depends on the amount of hair stucked or if there is any sticky material underneath it (sometimes is the residue from shower cream or shampoo)..

blink.gif great idea. Will it grow? or u r just waiting for it to dry and then change or throw away?  tongue.gif

It has been a few days and I'm still observing it. Still looking nice now but need to change water daily to avoid it turns smelly. I read an article online that it will slowly grows root from bottom and it can then be transferred and planted in soil.

They missed out the filter piece? Can't you put the plastic mesh underneath the square middle tile?
