Just to share my f320s 2610mah battery last for 51 hours  with 4hour sot. 2 days not charging my phone!! Usage of thr hp is adequate. I even watch 2 movies during this period!
*
wow !! thats really great and you are on 2610 battery !! but i see you not data or wifi most of the time eh ? this i think takes quite alot from the standby time due to all the syncing done in the background sad.gif

Speedtest!

Usually what syncs the most seems to be work email since it's on push notification. But if you don't have your screen on but wifi on, it shouldn't eat that much battery.
*
yes work emails, gmails, calendars all are pushed. apart from that, the next bigger drainer while screen off for me is Whatsapp group lol ... thanks to my super active friends sweat.gif sweat.gif

but i'm glad to say 1 day usage is really not a problem thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Exactly why i want a sleeve instead of case. Perfectly cover everything when in pocket and showing off the phone sexiness when using... but problem is , cannot find anyone selling locally. 😞

to those who have rooted their G2, do you get prompted for permission granting when an app requires root access ?

root is working fine as my apps requiring root is working as usual, but superuser is not prompting me to grant or deny root access

wondering why is that

Try install root checker first..
*
root is working fine so no need to install root checker

anyway, switch from the superuser app to clockworkmod superuser and permission granting is normal now. pretty scary to have apps having root access without me granting it sweat.gif

I'm trying to use an Android phone on it's stock condition as possible.

Dont get me wrong, I've once very into rooting and custom ROM flashing once a time. However I feel a good phone should just work as it is, without doing much modification on it AKA stock.

I'm struggle between G2 and Nexus 5 n the only show stopper for G2 is the software update itself. Given the bad record of updating their flagship to latest firmware. If it's on 4.3 I will able to accept , however it's on 4.2.2 sad.gif
*
you are contradicting yourself. You said a good phone should just work as it is which G2 does. If it works great at current state why is the software update itself become the show stopper ?

btw, I have 4.4 on my tab and 4.2.2 on my G2, I don't feel even the slightest advantage of 4.4 as of now haha

out of curiosity, what is missing in 4.2.2 that you can find in 4.3.1 that makes it acceptable?

Oh , When I say Stock I mean the original state. However I see significant performance improvement when my HTC One upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3. In general the Lock Screen widget works better, especially with Dash Notifier and Dynamic Notification. Thanks to the notification listener enabled on 4.3 together with Google Auto Awesome which works as a nice HTC Zoe replacement

Yea I mean good phone should just work as it is (with software update) and not just good after rooting and custom rom. Just saying~

Overall I can see G2 have very good verdict among a lot forums.

I saw there's international version and Korea version, anybody can highlight to me what's the main difference?
*
International = fix storage , irremovable 3000 li polymer battery
korea = sdcard, removable 2610 li ion battery

Original set not here yet and god knows when. There isnt any different btwn Ori and AP. Only the warranty which is by the shop.

I believe all the G2 owners here never regretted buying this phone, including myself. If I were you, I will just get this beautiful beast.
*
LoL of course I know about that haha

I ask him that question because Iwanna see his answer tongue.gif

BTW, I am already a proud G2 owner as others owners here since few weeks ago LoL

Does this come with the G2 stock rom? Or required to root to get such feature?
*
No it does not comes with G2 stock rom, what i meant was I using the G Flex splitview function on my rooted Stock Rom. So to get this feature
1) you need a stock rom
2) you need a custom recovery (dont have also can do manually but more steps required)
3) you need the splitview flashable zip file developed by bighau (xda)
