The battery test was for dual sim variant, which is not so good. I hope the battery for single sim can last as long as htc one max at least

Alcatel Malaysia just announced this device today. I guess they put it as coming soon cuz waiting for the Magic Flip and other accessories to sell together. Most sellers now only have stock for Device only.
RRP at RM1399. Around the same with K900 and Fonepad Note 6.
So I think here we can get it for RM12++

Apparently in Malaysia is only single sim.
Just got myself 1 touch hero yesterday. Its really value for money, but of course you can't expect much from Mediatek Processor. Coming from S800, then Intel Chipset, this is definitely at the bottom but i'm still enjoying it.

Free Bluetooth sidekick (vey compact and light!)
Magic Flip case (really magic and have magnetic features to cover whole screen rigidly, like those ipad cover)
Free KFC Voucher (although irrelevant, but you can get free snack plate with this voucher)
2 pin charger and standard accessories

got mine @rm1300, got extra normal flip cover, rather than kfc voucher, it true that a bit slow compare to s600/s800,but its tolerated. big and bright screen, magicflip and the bluetooth sidekick worth it, gotta get a 32gb micro sd card later then start using the phone to test the battery life. too bad it doesnt support my old 64gb.

I've been using this phone for a week now. Have to admit the design is superb with super slim bezel comparable to LG G2. Its the lightest, smallest for 6'inch device.

Battery wise, non-stop using I can easily get between 7.5 - 8.5 hours of Screen On Time. However during standby mode, the SOT will be around 5.5 hours. For comparison, on Fonepad Note 6 I can only get around 4 - 5 hours of SOT, max.
Alcatel still needs to work on the standby mode.

Stock launcher is smooth, but when I tried using Next Launcher 3D it really lags, downside of Mediatek Chip. Even Fonepad Note 6 with Intel Chipset can handle Next Launcher smoothly. Im starting to like the stock launcher now due to transparent notification, makes the bezel looks even thinner.

Conclusion, very happy with the slim design and long-lasting battery. On working days it will easily go on 2-3 days without charging. So far it never lags cuz I just use it for light gaming and moviesss, although Mediatek, but still a quadcore wink.gif Most importantly, for the spec that I get, its damn cheap wei
