26 days to go and already raised 1.6m of the 900k target.

Since Capcom has left Megaman to die a slow, cold and isolated and silent death, this is the closest we will ever get for a sequel to Megaman.

[/u]Pledge level[/u]

Forum access, backers only events, name in credit
At any reward level, you automatically join our ranks—the few, the proud—the Mighty No. community! Take part in exclusive backer contests, polls, surveys—you name it. Also, once the Kickstarter ends (assuming it’s successful), you’ll be given your own Mighty Number (based on the order we received your pledge, with earlier pledges getting lower numbers, starting at #900) and a secret password to verify your status in the Mighty No. community forum when it launches (estimated late 2013). What does that get you? Well, a cool, unique Mighty No. next to your name on the forums, plus access to awesome, exclusive, backer-only icons. Bragging rights, my friend—it’s all about the bragging rights! In that vein, your name will appear in the backer credits of the game, along with your Mighty Number!

Digital version
This is what it’s all about: You’ll get a code to download a brand-spankin’ new digital copy of Mighty No. 9, available via Steam or DRM-free digital distribution methods (your choice!) and possibly for Mac, Linux, Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii U, should we pass those stretch goals. In any case, we’ll ask all backers to choose which version they’d like before we send them a download code, with the default version being PC.

Note: There will be an in-game option to change the game’s text from English to Japanese. Also, participation in the beta version, should your reward tier include it, is only planned for the Steam PC version.

Digital retro instruction manual(Japanese or western style)
Ya see, back, WAY back in the olden days, this must be at least...10 years ago now, games came with these things made of dead trees and ink that told you how they worked. Think of them as “paper tutorial levels,” only they smelled good. Anyway, this is NOT that. It’s a digital version of that, though, that’s laid out to look similar to the way instruction manuals used to look in the old 8-bit days, only now you can view it on your tablet or PC or fancy smarty-phone. The Western version and Japanese version will look slightly different from each other (in addition to being in different languages, of course), but both will be similar in style to the typical 8-bit manuals from their respective territories.

Note: All digital documents will be available in PDF format (DRM-free). Backers will be polled and can individually choose to receive the Japanese or Western (English) version; if we don’t hear back, the default version for backers with Japanese shipping addresses will be Japanese, and all others will get the Western version.

Digital art book/strategy guide (Japanese or western style)
The digital version of our awesome chocolate-and-peanut-butter-style combo super-tome! 50% art book (chronicling the design process of Mighty No. 9 from start to finish), 50% strategy guide (showing you all the maps, tips, and secrets to guide you through your adventure), and 100% awesome! Just like the instruction booklet, you can choose either the English-language version (laid out to look similar to the old “Nintendo Power” strategy guide style), or the Japanese version (the same content in Japanese, ‘natch, but laid out differently, and in a smaller size format, just as the Japanese standard guides were and still are made).

Note: All digital documents will be available in PDF format (DRM-free). Backers will be polled and can individually choose to receive the Japanese or Western (English) version; if we don’t hear back, the default version for backers with Japanese shipping addresses will be Japanese, and all others will get the Western version.

Digital soundtrack
This one is pretty straightforward, but that doesn’t make it any less cool: Listen to the mighty tunes of Manami Matsumae and the other Mighty No. 9 soundtrack artists on your favorite listening device! Did you miss the sample track above, under Matsumae's profile? Here's an ambient remix!

Note: We will be offering the soundtrack in both MP3 and FLAC formats (DRM-free) once it’s ready for download.

Physical game box (Japanese oe western style)
Sure, as a download title, Mighty No. 9 doesn’t technically NEED a physical box, but then you don’t technically NEED to breathe, do you? ...Well yes, of course you do—just like you NEED this box! Satisfy that inner-collector/old-school-gamer itch by having Mighty No. 9 take its place among the side-scrolling action games of yore on your desk, shelf, or Ocean’s-Eleven-style laser-tripwire-protected display case.

This will be shipped to you with the printed instruction manual (see the next entry below) already inside; it won’t have the game in it because you’re getting that via the download code, but hey, put whatever else you want in there. The Western-style box will be patterned after the NES game box dimensions and style, while the Japanese version will be Famicom-esque.

Note: Backers will be polled and can individually choose to receive the Japanese or Western (English) version; if we don’t hear back, the default version for backers with Japanese shipping addresses will be Japanese, and all others will get the Western version. And yes, if you’re wondering, there IS a reward tier that gets you both the Japanese AND Western versions!

Printed physical retro instruction manual(Japanese or western style)
An actual, physical, full-color instruction booklet to go along with your actual, physical game box—just like the old days! The Western version and Japanese version of the manual will look slightly different from each other (in addition to being in different languages, of course), but both will be similar in style to the typical 8-bit manuals from their respective territories.

In-game content:Golden Beck
YOU ARE A GOLDEN GOD! Well, at least you are when you play as this golden color variant of Beck that only Kickstarter backers with this reward will have access to.

Beta access
Want a chance to play Mighty No. 9 early? Maybe sniff out a bug or two, help out the development team? Be the first among your friends to try the game when you gain access to the work-in-progress beta version, before the full retail release!

Note: We can only guarantee this reward for PC versions of the game via Steam, ONLY (that second “only” lets you know we are serious here!), no matter what other versions are eventually released.

T-shirt (Japanese or western style)
That’s right—we’ll be making two, separate T-shirt designs to choose from: one aimed at the Western market, and one made for Japan. The exact designs aren’t decided yet, but you can take a look at the art on this page and imagine the possibilities...

We’ll be sure to get your shirt size before we send them out, and yes, there IS a backer tier that allows you to get BOTH shirts!

Note: Backers will be polled and can individually choose to receive the Japanese or Western (English) version; if we don’t hear back, the default version for backers with Japanese shipping addresses will be Japanese, and all others will get the Western version.

In-game content: Special Beck transformation
Congratulations—you’ll get access to a secret, SUPER (in all-caps) exclusive, backer-only transformation for Beck, and whatever power comes with it! It won’t be anything that will affect the game balance, of course, but the guiding principle is “something cool-looking that hardcore fans will appreciate.”

Note: Of course you’ll still get the earlier bit of exclusive in-game content as well, silly!

Physical printed art book/strategy guide (Japanese or western style)
An awesome chocolate-and-peanut-butter-style combo art book (chronicling the design process of Mighty No. 9 from start to finish) and strategy guide (showing you all the maps, tips, and secrets to guide you through your adventure), in full, glorious, physical form, just as they used to make ‘em back in the days of yesteryear!

As with the instruction manual, you can choose either the English-language version (laid out to look similar to the old “Nintendo Power” strategy guide style), or the Japanese version (the same content in Japanese, ‘natch, but laid out differently, and in a smaller size format, just as the Japanese standard guides were and still are made).

Note: You’ll also receive the digital version of the book in addition to the print version!

Enemy mascot plushie
The enemies in Mighty No. 9 are deadly...but that doesn’t mean they can’t be adorable! Here you’ll get a cuddly plushie based on one of Beck’s many foes. Which foe, as well as the exact design and dimensions aren’t yet set, since we want it to be whatever iconic “mascot” enemy character comes out of the design process as the game is built. We can tell you our plan is for the plushie to be bigger than a grapefruit, but smaller than a volleyball—so start clearing off that desk or shelf space now!

Signed hardcover artbook/strategy guide (Japanese or western style)
A sweet-as-honey, coffee-table ready, hardcover version of our precious tome of legend, a combination art book (chronicling the design process of Mighty No. 9 from start to finish), and strategy guide (showing you all the maps, tips, and secrets to guide you through your adventure), signed by our fearless leader, Keiji Inafune himself. You’ll get this hardcover book instead of the softcover book, but you’ll still get the digital version as well.

Note: As with the Instruction booklet, you can choose either the English-language version (laid out to look similar to the old “Nintendo Power” strategy guide style), or the Japanese version (the same content in Japanese, ‘natch, but laid out differently, and in a smaller size format, just as the Japanese standard guides were and still are made).

Mighty No. bosses poster
A nice-sized poster (meaning roughly 18” by 24”, or 46cm x 60cm) of all the Mighty No. bosses together. We don’t have the image because all the bosses aren’t final yet, but take a look higher up the page at the ones we do have. ….Right? RIGHT?! You guys, this poster is gonna be fan-freakin’-tastic.

Help create a challenge for Mighty No. 9
No matter which platforms it ends up on, all versions of Mighty No. 9 will have an in-game achievement system (separate from system-level achievements) with all sorts of challenges to test your gaming skills. “Beat a level without jumping” or “beat the game only using this weapon” or maybe “never using this transformation,” that sort of thing. Maybe you’ve got a great idea for one such goal? Or maybe you will after the beta test? The team will work with you over email to come up with a challenge based on your idea (within reason!) to implement into the final game.

Signed original sketch by Keiji Inafune
Not a scan, not a copy, not a reprint—a hand-drawn, guaranteed one-of-a-kind original custom sketch done by Inafune himself, along with his signature! Did we mention this would be unique? We included a sample here so you can get a sense for what this’ll look like; it won’t necessarily be this same design, mind you, but this is the level you can expect:

Your voice in the ending theme
Spoiler alert: Mighty No. 9 will have a closing song that plays as the credits roll. Double spoiler alert: Your voice can be in it! With this reward, you’ll be contacted via email with detailed instructions on what to record and send back to us, so we can work it into the mix of that final credit-roll song. In the grand scheme of things, your time on this planet may be short...but your voice? Your voice shall live forever...

Your face in the game
Let’s be clear about this one up front: there’s a right way and a wrong way to implement this kind of reward. Our plan is to do it in such a way that you, the very generous backer who donates to this level, can take satisfaction in finding your mug (pixelized into a 2D representation by the game’s artists) and showing it off to your friends and family, without disrupting the experience for anyone else. (For example, one idea is to have little electric-poster displays in the background that show “Wanted” reward posters which cycle through these backers’ faces.)

Help create an enemy character
That’s right—help create an honest-to-goodness enemy footsoldier that will appear in Mighty No. 9. Bring your drawings, your ideas, your whatever-you-want to present to the team in an hour-long Skype chat (interpreter provided). Then, after the team has had some time to work up a concept based on your proposal, come back for a second hour-long Skype chat to give your feedback on their design, before it’s finalized and put into the final game! Bear in mind the team might also do this at some point with the community as a whole, but you can ensure your own private session with this reward.

Original concept art of Mighty No. boss
Now we’re getting into crazy-collectible territory. Own a part of videogame history with an original piece of hand-drawn concept art for one of the eight Mighty No. Boss robots—nicely framed, with a thanks to your name written on it, along with signatures by the artist and Keiji Inafune (or without—your choice). We’ll ask your preference on which boss you’d prefer, but since the amount of art for any one boss is severely limited, we can’t guarantee which No. you’ll get.

3D-printed model of a Mighty No. boss
Show them who’s the boss with an incredibly rare, roughly 8-inch-tall (20cm) color-cast model of any one of the nine Mighty No. robots (Beck is okay, too), based on their in-game model! That’s right—with this one, you get to choose whichever Mighty No. you want.

Extremely limited PAX exclusive T-shirt Mighty No. 1-8
As you might have heard by now, Mighty No. 9 was first revealed to the world at a panel held by Keiji Inafune during the 2013 Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle, WA. Those in attendance had the opportunity to snag an exclusive, individually-numbered t-shirt that branded them an official Mighty Number! There were only 900 of these t-shirts made in total, and we don’t currently have any plans to make more—but even if we should, these are the uber-l337 t-shirts numbered 001 through 008, representing the Mighty No. robots (Inafune himself owns number 009)! You’ll get one of these t-shirts; we can’t guarantee which number, but we will try to distribute them on a first-come-gets-lowest-number system.

Dinner with Keiji Inafune
Looking for an excuse to visit Japan? How about dinner and some great conversation with a fascinating guy who just happens to be one of the world’s most famous game designers? Inafune himself would like to thank you for your incredibly generous donation, as well as talk about Mighty No. 9, games in general, or whatever else might come up as you and he (and a provided interpreter) share dinner and drinks. You’ll need to cover airfare and hotel yourself, but a nice, traditional-style Japanese dinner is on Inafune

The lowest level with the game starts at $20.

I backed this too considering the crowd funding seemed to be more open than most.

Oh wait, they have a jpeg version, here is it:

They could beat Mega Man if they make it looked good with it's story and plot.

I think Steam Achievements , Co-Op is possible with this game or maybe Duels between Beck user?

I see lots of potential with this game.

Updated version for the pledge tiers.

I rather they focus on making the core game with solid mechanics properly first than doing all the gimmicky shit like coop or dueling. Comcept seemed to have the right idea on how much they need to develop this game without resorting to excessive stretch goals.
