The lowest level with the game starts at $20.

I backed this too considering the crowd funding seemed to be more open than most.

Oh wait, they have a jpeg version, here is it:

Updated version for the pledge tiers.

I rather they focus on making the core game with solid mechanics properly first than doing all the gimmicky shit like coop or dueling. Comcept seemed to have the right idea on how much they need to develop this game without resorting to excessive stretch goals.

Aku memang competitive one, mang. Sorry.  cool2.gif

If you want to be competitive, pledge for other games. There are plenty of competitive games out there.

Mighty No. 9 should be single player only, so that they get more time to polish the gameplay than building all the gimmicky stuff that adds barely anything to the game. Writing multiplayer netcode takes a lot of time and money, which will result in worse single player experience.

Well I'll be saying at least leaderboard or something. Not to say co-op or multiplayer which doesn't fits in unless they make a new title.

So, what do you get out of leaderboards? Half the time people will cheat on leaderboards with hacked scores.

memphiz have already stated what you said yesterday... It depends on their system also.

Just my OPINION. Not expecting to say for the hack or whatever consequences.

There is New Game+ and Turbo mode, thats actually quite a lot of work for Comcept to do.

I am actually worried about feature creep that many KS got themselves into a corner with many stretch goals to the point they used up all their budget before they completed everything, like:

Broken Age used up all their budget, after 250k donation and a humble sale that net them 2 million cause they tried to do too many things.
Banner Saga couldnt do their music, cause no money left for that after too many stretch goals.
Planetary Annihilation has too many biodomes and major features to work on, I really doubt they can make it for December release.
Distance got delays like 3 months, because they want to do SP and MP with full level editor that is a lot of work.
Shadowrun Returns could not deliver all their stretch goals on release, and Berlin becomes a separate DLC in 2014.

And the list goes on and on. For someone who pledged many projects, some times, it just hurts to see the devs got themselves in trouble because they went nuts with stretch goal during the campaign then couldnt implement them in time and on budget. Then, the backers gone butthurt over it because the devs missed their promised release date. I dont mind the game is late, but I hate to see the devs ran out of money half way or get flamed by butthurt backers because they couldnt deliver it in time. You can say that a lot of developers are fairly wealthy people but do note that a freshly graduated game developer gets like 80k a year. People like Chris Avellone or Keiji Inafune probably get paid a lot more.

I actually think Comcept handled their campaign perfectly so far. Lots of meaty updates and a lot of community interaction. I just hope they dont go nuts with content and gameplay stretch goals after their PS3, 360 and WiiU console stretch goal.

Seriously, dont have to be so defensive all the time.

That's is a lot of work to do  shocking.gif
i hope they do not become too greedy and over promise/extend of their capabilities. they should just focus on pc/mac/linux platform 1st then only port to console at a later date.
*
See, thats why i hate projects with multiple stretch goals. Now, i think they are overextending themselves.

Lookie here. Boss Rush mode. And the things I have mentioned earlier was convinced. Can show off your time attack records and track.  thumbup.gif

Now I hope they dont screw up everything because they might be overextending themselves. The original 11 levels are a lot of work to do.

Rush mode sounds fun.

After being part of so many kickstarters, I never knew some stuff like maps, 2D art and certain type of models takes way longer than I had expected.

Wow this game hit $2.5M. Just crazy. Project Phoenix not getting that much love?
*
Cause Project Phoenix campaign is poorly run.

Unconvincing and half assed campaign as if they devs doesnt really care about it.

A bit disappointed to see them using Unreal Engine though as it is a very expensive engine to use while the movement in UE3 feels more floaty than a lot of engine.

Also, how are they gonna integrate the more cartoon look of the concept?

Seemed like this game is progressing pretty well, glad I backed this.

I am just not too sure about the art style though.

im glad i backed this too but while art is not to your liking, for me the music... hope the music have much more oomph in it when it released...
*
The music is amazing though. Feels like a Japanese games that was made in the golden age of Japanese games.

I mean, seeing mighty no 9 in 3D just feels like seeing Metal Slug in 3D after playing the older 2D versions for years in the past. It feels odd but i think i'll eventually get over it. It is not really a negative comment on the game is bad because its 3D.

I am just glad that they are progressing decent with the game.
