All broker offers MT4 at basic. cTrader is just another platform, with clearer chart, execution, trailing stop, break even point, execution speed, calculate the risk % for each of my trade.
BUT cTrader disadvantage is indicator. Basic indicator all there. But custom build indicator no.
I use MT5 for analysis, trade using cTrader.

ICMarkets I not sure! FxPro I use quite long never got any problem withdrawing my fund.
The only problem is normal pair 4 decimal and charge high commissions.
But I like using the vault and negative balance protection.

Sometimes have to give and take -.-

I just share whatever knowledge I have FOC. We all been through there.
Losing money buying lesson.

GBPusd on daily chart. I trade GBPusd.
AUDjpy daily chart also a winner. But I no trade, because no level 3 haha.

OANDA FX in my knowledge no one using here.

BTW you want to use the Fx trade or MT4?
You going to start with 300USD.
I think OANDA FX only provide 1:50 leverage.
You only can trade micro lots.

My advise, stay out of Market during DEC.
1. Christmas + New year. Long holiday.
2. Most people pull out fund for holiday.
3. Forex biggest player is who? The Bank, Finance Institution. Dec,31 big boys need to finalise their accounts. So there might be weird movement in FX market as they need to tele with their client's account.

However, I'm still old school guys. Everything below.








Low leverage is good. But you only can focus 1 pair with very small micro lots.
Like I say EURusd current quote @ 1.34960 with leverage 1:10 Your margin required is 135USD for 0.01lot (micro lots / $0.10 per pips)

Lets say you go LONG on EURusd, but now moving against you.
Quote at 1.34460 (-50pips)
Equity = 300 - 5 = 295USD

Margin level = (295/135) x 100 = 218.52% (You're safe! Most broker margin call around 100%, so you still have 118.52% to float)
