SnR, demand and supply, trend trading are proven good systems
price action is sometimes overrated. its better than lagging indi but not the best
from 2009 people fancy abt price action and volume spread analysis, its actually a new marketing stuff
i bet Nial Fuller open signal provider at zulutrade, let see if he is powerful as he claim

Bro, please share me your Semafor & 2 EMA setting again.

EMA 5&8

where is 1, 2, 3 wave in ur chart?

ok i guess semafor doesnt work on MT5

Semafor works on MT5, the creator himself build the MT5 version himself.

Your Semafor settings? 5,13,34?

I think your system works the best in 8hrs TF.

It's a near holy grail...

In MT5, no 1,2,3. Only SIZE of the DOT. I going to change the dot colour~

it works best with 4h and above, sometimes i scalp 4H

Bro the attached photo is the Final Ver on MT5.

I think EMA setting 5 & 13 is better, filter out some fake movement (Daily TF)

EMA 5 & 21 ( 8hrs / 6hrs TF).

Btw thanks for sharing...
I think I can keep my eyes away from comp soon...

for 5&8, you'll have your entry and exit earlier than 5&13. sometimes it produce a false signal(cross), but if semafor 3 is at resistance. u keep on selling and selling, and dont take the buy signal (vice versa for semafor 3 at support)
5&13 much slower but less false cross. 5&8 will give u early exit when trend reversal happen.
both have strength and weakness. choose which cross suit u the best
*
Lets say Semafor 1/2 lying on S&R, same for exit/enter when MA cross?

i use level 3 only as i can see it act as SnR/DnS/fractal/zigzag, but u can try different setting/approach
tell you my system is kinda boring sweat.gif but suit my trading style
*
Boring? A big NO!
I find it easy, simple, no fancy indicators, no need check this check that, everything straight to the point.
Since I trying to use MT5, I can scalp other time frame 4,6,8~
I will let you know the result once I start trading with your system. (need to check back history trend, master the technique.)

Ok guys, what your view on EU and GU. I am shorting both on a very tiny lot size since my previous shorts already tp.

Anyone shorting? And those who as still Long, mind to share your views?
*
For EU, I will still be in observe mode until clear sign is shown.
This pair been staying around 1.348 support zone for the week, might due to NFP week no people willing to gamble the movement.

For GU, with some help from the economic data, is able to push from 1.589 support zone through 1.6 resistance zone direct to 1.612 resistance zone in 3 days.
My bias is hold until 1.612 resistance zone being cleared which show direction to 1.625 resistance zone.

In the end, NFP report is the only standing stone.
Good luck & Happy pipping~

Not a good week for me, 3trades: 1 hit SL, 2hit break even... (-29.1pips)

I'm going to test this system too. Lazy to spend time check the chart hourly, planning to trade longer time frame abit.

The EMA you guys mentioned here, a quick search lead me to "Exponential Moving Average". So EMA is not the built in indicator "Moving Average" right?
*
You need basic+medium knowledge for this system.
Ema is a simple moving average. Is inside moving average.

Please play with it before try on live account.

I strongly believe highlowyat will agree with me,
Practice the strategy till you master it.
Use Money Management rules that suit your margin.

We dont wish to see you burning your account because of blindly use of the strategy.

Hi, if i plan to open an account on fxprimus using 100 usd, which leverage should I choose? 1:100 ok?
*
With just 100usd, higher the leverage the better. but the higher the risk you exposed.

QUOTE(harivendrannathan @ Nov 9 2013, 02:28 PM)
hi i wanna try starting forex. met a friend's broker. that certain broker asked for at least 3.5K usd to start. i dont have that much of capital. would like to start with 100usd, is it possible? please do share your opinion.
*
At least 3.5k to start? Margin lock for how many %?

Most REGULATED BROKER ECN account only need a minimum of 1000usd with NO LOCK OF YOUR MARGIN.

QUOTE(BryanKek @ Nov 9 2013, 09:29 PM)
Another question, Fxprimus allows hedge trading?? Also, since I'm starting with a damn small capital(USD 100), assuming I'm willing to take a 5% risk with each position I open, should I trade with higher lot size or higher stop loss pips?

E.g.

Situation 1; I predetermine my lot size to be the minimum of 0.01, hence my stop loss pip would be 50 pips to allow more breathing for the price fluctuation.

Situation 2; I predetermine my stop loss to be 25 pips and hence, open a trade with 0.02 lot size.

Can please advise and provide your opinion? Thanks biggrin.gif
*
1st question I not sure.
For 2nd question use situation 1 is better. but keep your Risk/Reward ration high.
More pips for breathing is needed rather than larger lot size, unless your're god then different story.

Friday close around 99.0 resistance area, with strong bull driving strong from support @ 98.2.
MACD show no sign of reversal, + 2 MA still showing a uptrend.
the level 3 semafor might going to repaint~
Next resistance @ 99.9 area might be the target...

This pair also close around the support area @ 1.337.
For Thursday and Friday, market is not ready to challenge next support @ 1.325 area
For this week, I will closely monitor the 1.337 area, the 2 MA and MACD for the sign of reversal.

Bro, so whats your take on the markets? EU and GU seems to be lingering around the support area, not much movement, probably waiting for BOE speech and Bernanke speech. EJ will be the most troublesome pair now, Yen wants to depreciate slowly to meet inflation targets but now Euro just cut their bank rates and screw the japs over.
*
EURusd playing around 1.337 support area.
GBPusd playing around 1.6 resistance area.
You're right the speech is the key.
But I personally feel The Greenback will strengthen for awhile.
I think QE will be continue, but Treasury needs Fed to spark some fire to kick start the economy.
As we look at the Debt limit, is always increasing not decreasing.
US needs lots of money, no QE they can't survive.

Yesterday I trade EURjpy, went long @ 132.726. currently floating in profit.
And EURaud also went long @ 1.43258. currently also floating in profit.

For me the overall look for today EURO is good, and has some strength at the start of the week.
Lets see how Market Makers play this week. Another Mark up and Dump? icon_rolleyes.gif
