yeah, mine shows the same. Any ideas on how else to check the sensor date? So far my three week old unit in red has no issues with the camera. * touchwood * rclxms.gif

I have been careful not to overheat the phone too much though, highest I've seen with the GSam Battery Monitor is 42 deg.
*
yeap I got a replacement unit like 6 days back. I think they replaced the camera sensor before factory packing it.

upto 85% device sold in malaysia have this problem... other countries do not face the purple tint problem...

my friend bought australia version of HTC one... no problem whatsoever...

dont judge a phone by its problem that only occurs mostly to malaysian units.
*
in short Malaysia HTC sucks! and so does SiS. I had a phone chat with an international representative. It was an int call. I think he called me after I gave him a very long feedback. So he wanted to talk further about it. So I pointed and explained all the problems HTC Malaysia and SiS are having and provided suggestions as well to improve these problems. I said him to follow up on it... lets see if they do smile.gif

Malaysia HTC and SIS are monkeys who only know I want your money and after that fu*k you

+ they go work and they are more interested in having LONGG lunch breaks and even while working they are eating too. Just love eating food lol. And if you complain, they make weird faces. I highly recommended that guy that he should TRAIN thr staff instead of replacing them. Kesian them also.

and the guy really went TSK TSK when I said their competitors are doing well with QC and CS which is why I am complaining.

Anyhow seeing that replacing camera unit is fixing the purple tint (y). I am in love with HTC one again smile.gif. TBH it's the best phone for 2013 till now. HTC deserves a pat for that but they really need to follow up with their customers with after sales properly.

For me second place goes to LG G2. If you guys havent check that phone out. You should check it biggrin.gif

Wont trust a AP set ever. As thr are high chances of you getting fake accessories and a refurbished set. My friend experienced it with his blackberry 9900.

AHH, I bought my ONE from Digi, and now its having the purple tint camera issue.
Factory reset is not doing any good.
So, I need send it back in for the camera replacement or better yet just try to ask for a phone replacement.

My question is, I should go back to Digi, or I should go to the Shah Alam HTC Factory?

And, anyone else has encounter the same camera issue even after the camera replacement?
AHH SHIT, ONE used to be so great, but now, im really dissapointed sad.gif
*
HTC times square. 1 to 1 replacement if set is less than 14 days old. Replacement new set will take 1 week minimum to come or 2 to 3 weeks depending on stock availability and a lot of phones call you make to them.

Sad! SIS must be Kelana Jaya center? I start worry now... My phone is with them now.
*
no need to worry bro. Thr is this policy that if the set is visibly damaged, for example, housing got scratched. They will replace new housing for you. I confirmed this from them. On the plus side it's always good to attach a note with it stating the condition of the phone if thr r any scratches and get it signed from them so that when u get ur phone back. You can recheck and show them the signed note if thr is any fault.

In short it's all on how you deal with them. YOU my friend are the boss if they even increase thr tone a bit or sound bias, you give them a formal mouthful then talk to thr senior and if they act bossy, just go with tribunal. I am very good with talking with these kind of people, so I managed to control them well smile.gif

that's the reality bro. Customer always win. smile.gif If we all stop whining n start acting then they might get better biggrin.gif Coz I got a international call from HTC int too I dunno frm whr... he asked my opinions in details. Had a 45 minz convo with him pointing out whr the problem is compared to their competitors.

Oh and those who have purple tint issue. It CAN be fixed as a lot of people here reported that after HTC my repair the phone, the tint is gone. So save your time and give it for repairs and do wht I advice you to do. It will surely work smile.gif dont rage on em! just be hard on them in a formal professional way. Then they will know that you DO know about how things should be normally lol and then they get scared and serve you well. True story for my flawless replacement unit wink.gif

Mine is send thru Seng Heng so i am not sure where they send it to.
But shoddy repair work i tell you . Thats why i send it back. I cannot talk to their senior rep because the 1800889855 line is just a general care line. They even ask u to wait for them while they check the status of your phone and then reply to you. If you rush them then they give you this superglue sticking , blue speck screen LCD kind of work loh. So i dont even bother . Some forumer here already said complain to HQ Taiwan also they refer u back to Malaysia SIS.
*
Off course nothing happens on phone. I did what I had to do at their service center... that is when THEY called me about my issue and took suggestions on how to improve thr service smile.gif

Anyway, I don't go on taking pictures in the dark that much. I have my camera for that. So no hurry.

bro the CS agent has no idea what he is talking about. It's called 'google' both him and you can use it. And it is surely a hardware problem, if not.. why did a lot of people here got thr camera module replaced and the problem went away? Please bro... don't let them bullshitt you. Don't be so naive smile.gif Do some background research then call them... I would love to listen what they reply you then smile.gif
