note series is the pioneer of phablets and no matter what, they will still be the top selling device in the phablet category. anyone that used note 2 before will swear by this phone, best in class battery life. best stylus writing experience. what more to say?

for me everything about the note 3 is perfect except that we have to live with the 5.7" screen. after using xzu any other screen size is definitely not adequate. then again the slimmer and smaller form factor of the note 3 is hard to resist. easy to pocket as well as compared to xzu

i guess sony then had to come out with Honami in order to bridge this gap!

Haha, am I the only one who is still planning to buy XZU after seeing Samsung and Sony announcement last night? Have been holding the urge of buying XZU just to see how much Note 3 and Z1 can offer. Z1 managed to impress me, while Note 3 isn't so. Still holding Note 2 and XZ, and I think XZU is still my first choice, Note 3 is second choice, hahah

no harm buying XZU.. still one of the best, and its in its own class, exclusive. but maybe you shouyld also wait and try Note 3, just in case to make sure you get the right choice..

i have been using iphone for many years (even until now). then few months ago i bought the BB Q10, and then this XZU for fun.

I really like the XZU. aside from the big screen, i can remove the sim card without removing the battery (unlike the Q10).

what about the note 3? do i have to remove the battery in order to remove the sim card?

ok back to XZU, anyone know good deals or roadshow coming up for XZU?? since Z1 comes out, they gotta clear stock for XZU rite? come come sell to us cheap

not sure but usually samsung phone u need to take out battery then u can pull out sim card, because the battery is in the way.. i think u better ask this in Note 3 thread

as for XZU, if u pull sim card, your phone will reboot as well, right? (i haven't really try that) so same thing la i guess. its just that XZU is non-removeable battery

ya, the phone will reboot, but it's very fast. Q10 is very slow...

Why would Z1 affect sales of XZU? Both are different categories. XZ price will definitely drop as is upgraded model of it

Based on the photo showing the inside the simcard slot is above the battery n I think you need not take out battery to have it out.
Is this an important point to you ? Frankly it doesn't matter at all to me

I was dissapointed too that Note3 display is only 5.7 inch. Was hoping it would be 5.99 inch as reported in the early days.

Hehehe... 5.7" is smaller than 6.44". But in reality, 5.7" and 6.4" is also quite small for long hour media
consumption (10" is better in this regards). So I think 5.7" and 6.44" is quite the same.

Furthermore, its easier to lug around 5.7" device.
