QUOTE(Hertz96 @ Sep 5 2013, 03:22 PM) btw what brand of sp are you using?QUOTE(icemessenger @ Sep 5 2013, 03:45 PM) note series is the pioneer of phablets and no matter what, they will still be the top selling device in the phablet category. anyone that used note 2 before will swear by this phone, best in class battery life. best stylus writing experience. what more to say? for me everything about the note 3 is perfect except that we have to live with the 5.7" screen. after using xzu any other screen size is definitely not adequate. then again the slimmer and smaller form factor of the note 3 is hard to resist. easy to pocket as well as compared to xzu |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 5 2013, 04:45 PM) well i guess we have to play with the demo unit first before making a decisionQUOTE(un_id @ Sep 5 2013, 04:47 PM) 5.7" is defninitely not big once u hold the xzu, its difficult to go for a lower size. the reason why people who like xzu because it is a true phablet, if im going smaller screen size, ill have to go way small and use another tablet to read or surf or somethingQUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 5 2013, 04:50 PM) I was dissapointed too that Note3 display is only 5.7 inch. Was hoping it would be 5.99 inch as reported in the early days. yah uncle if its 5.99inch i guess we would just preoder the note 3. but now its only 5.7" |

QUOTE(rayzrblade @ Sep 5 2013, 05:20 PM) I read it's about 1400? I'm still very tempted provided of it supports other phones. Last time Sony smart watch came out also claimed supports sony phones only. how many times you really multi task like using both windows in a phone's screen, the xzu mini multi task for me is good enough, we can call out the calculator, voice recorder, take screen shot thru the tab function. Samsung really put in effort of making a phablet useful instead of just making it big. Like xzu. So big screen + water dust resist. No multi windows. Just small apps. No extra smart features to fully utilize the big screen. The didn't go deep enough to make a phablet. Samsung is really putting the usage into consideration instead just boasting the outlook. I'm sure most of the previous note users will miss all these if they switch to xzu like me. Haha. the big screen really shines when ur watching video, movie, reading ebook, surfing lowyat.net, |

QUOTE(titi123 @ Sep 5 2013, 05:23 PM) Actually 5.7 and 5.9 is not much a different, but again, once compare with 6.4 of XZU, then it is hard to adapt to lower than 6" display... yeah~! but now at least we know if they fit in a 5.99" screen into note 3 they would have to increase the dimension of the device, i really love how the dimension of the note 3 is in fact smaller compared to note 2, lighter as well. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 6 2013, 04:48 PM) I have lost count the number of times I have drop my phone slipping out from my shirt pocket. No damages at all as is well protected in my Melko flipcase. If i used those Niilkin or Sony flipcase guaranteed the flap will open up n phone will hit floor on its surfaces. But all the drops not high as mainly due to bending down my phone fell down once from the side table beside my bed, well protected by my melkco as well, not a hint of scratch~! |

QUOTE(rayzrblade @ Sep 12 2013, 11:29 AM) that's why it's not advisable to use the ori facebook app. besides the app wakes up the device to sync ever so oftenQUOTE(ZhaoYun @ Sep 12 2013, 11:53 AM) Damn, I really hate to fiddle with the flap everytime I need to charge the one. The first day I did with my HTC butterfly is to pull out the flap by force ! get a dock~! or a magnetic charging cable. |

one shouldn't be using their device near a beach anyways, they should be enjoying the sea and the beach, and not the phone. besides with the amount of sand lying around, it's really easy to scratch ur device.
